No matter how much i wished when i was little, i never had a dad like this. I'm 14 now and i still am trying to get over not having him in my life or not even knowing what he looks like or what my life would have been like if he would have been in it. Like if you know what it feels like to never have a hug from your dad or have him tell you he loves you before you go to sleep at night.

almost 9 years ago, a man too young for the burden about to be thrust upon him lost his one true love to cancer and suddenly found himself to be the only parent left to a 9 year old girl who had no one else to turn to. I know I've tested him as a man and as a christian but he was there for me through every bad grade, every break up and every insecurity. We're a team...and somehow we made it this far. I just hope one day to find a man as wonderful as him to marry. I love you Daddy.

@01annalee thats a shame, I can tell you theres no love stronger than parent and child. I have a daughter and a son who I love to death. I miss them even at work, I look at their photos on my phone on the train to work and home. I will never understand a parent who refuses their child, but I suspect hes ashamed but I know underneath he loves, if hes human he will. But most importantly of all, if you have a child of your own, do not let history repeat itself. Love your child, always.

This song made me cry. I love my dad unconditionaly. He has always been there for me, he always make sure I keep good grades and push me through the tough times when I feel like dying. He suports me in Softball and Basketball. Whenever I'm broken he picks the peices up for me.. I guess you could say my dad is my hereo. I have the #1 dad.

My dad is alcoholic, but I don't remember a day, when he wouldn't give me love from all his heart. There have been much tears, and I have so many times wanted to set him free from alcohol, but now I know that I can't do that, I can just love him through it all. @01annalee thats a shame, I can tell you theres no love stronger than parent and child. I have a daughter and a son who I love to death. I miss them even at work, I look at their photos on my phone on the train to work and home. I will never understand a parent who refuses their child, but I suspect hes ashamed but I know underneath he loves, if hes human he will. But most importantly of all, if you have a child of your own, do not let history repeat itself. Love your child, always.

i love my dad so much <3 my mom and dad divorced when i was 7 and i lived with my mom my whole life seldomly meeting with my dad...my mom got re-married to an abusive man and him and her were on all types of drugs..ill never forget how hard my dad fought for me and how he saved me... i love him with all my heart :)

I'm usin my husband's account... I wish i had a dad like this.. But i haven't seen my dad in 15 yrs bc he's in prison for something tht he did tht was wrong.. I have forgave him and still forgive him everyday and hope he lets god in his heart.. I was 6 when my dad went 2 jail now i am 21, i haven't heard from him or saw any pics. But i know in my heart if my dad wasn't the way he was when i was yonger i would have a lovin and carin dad. My mom was both my mom and dad from the age 6-21.. ILY MOM

My Dad found a new wife after 22 years of marriage and dropped all of his kids, I was 14 at the time and then ran every friend off that he had at the time because his new wife didn't want anything to due with his past...The NEW WIFE HAS NOT LET US HAVE A RELATIONSHIP SINCE.
