  • Wow. I have been learning this kata for a while. & i have never seen it done like this. I am a brown belt with 2 black stripes and i am 14 xD My father learned from richard Pinkam & he has taught me for 12 years.

    This was very interesting.

  • This version of seisan I vaguely remember seeing before. Very different from Goju ryu.

  • It is the Uechi Ryu Seisan

  • very different from the Isshinryu version that i learned from Shihan Jones.

  • That's nice I--Aaaagh robots are eating my braaain!

  • Yes, thus my point. I am from Okinawa (just moved Stateside after 12 yrs. in OKI), and I commented because unlike the vast majority of the "Okinawan" dojo I've visited, this representation was pretty solid and seems to have maintained its Okinawan foundations...

  • chinese foundations actually

  • Nice to see that the foundations are not always lost when the systems "cross the pond," keep at it!

  • what do you mean? uechi ryu is a original okinawan style.

  • chinese actually

  • Brad you are right! Pangainoon is the father of Uechi Ryu...A lot Uechi black belts do not know this..

Sadly because of the McDojo craze most "black belts" do not know their lineage

  • Good job! Good focus and looked powerful. You are moving well.
