I play Warhammer Online rather than playing WoW, I also Play Dawn of War instead of playing Starcraft, why? because I have background knowledge of what the world of Warhammer is all about. WoW and Starcraft may have better graphics and all throughout better gameplay (I personally don't think so) but I am biased because I love anything Warhammer related. I've read a couple of the Horus Heresy books and by that enjoy the games a million times more.

@Octavian88mtl It is sometimes difficult to rely on the people who make your games. Blizzard has implemented its actions very well, but you can probably think back in time to when they were in the early Warcraft and the first Starcraft. They were good, but I could enjoy other RTS's more back in the day. Relic has done well with it's DOW games. Better than some other 40k games, and as they are allowed to concentrate there will be marked improvement.

@hollowkos If you ever get a chance read the daw of war novels, it talks about the surgical and augmentation process people have to go through before they can wear the armor, which after everything is completed the armor itself becomes light, like its a second skin that gives more protection.

i watched this today and i think its great, especially if you take into account its the FIRST one ever made. its more or less classic 40k, dan abnett did a really good job and the action is pretty awesome too. also, the extras on the special edition are really good, makes it worth the cost ^^

Warhammer 40.000 is around since 1987 Starcraft on the other hand from 1998, so figure out who copied who, furthermore Starcraft is a prety good game but compaired to the epicness and the atmosphere of warhammer 40.000 sucks bigtime, so next time do your research before you speak heretics.

Looks like a good start. Get some better production into it (better graphics, better acting, more capable engine) and it could really be awesome. I feel like I should check it out anyway though.

For all who play Blizzard games (i don't say that there's anything wrong in that), just to get this clear: Starcraft was released in 1998, 12 years ago. Warhammer 40k is 27 years old = if anybody copied anything, it would be Blizzard, no fence. If i hear any more of that "omg warhammer copied starcraft" i will literally kill every single one of you, in the name of The Emperor!

i watched this today and i think its great, especially if you take into account its the FIRST one ever made. its more or less classic 40k, dan abnett did a really good job and the action is pretty awesome too. also, the extras on the special edition are really good, makes it worth the cost ^^

@sharpo88 The reason it seems so simple, is 'cause Dan Abnett wanted it to get the message across to EVERYONE, not just Warhammer fans.
Though I see what you're saying. Personally, something on the Inquisition or the Officio Assasinorum would have been far more interesting.

1st of all, WARHAMMER long existed as board game be4 Blizzard even published Warcraft 1
2nd if u pay attention on WoW instances u will notice that 80% of them are stolen from some1 else stories
(Ulduar = Atlantida; entire "Lich King" story is stolen from Silmarilions chapter; etc...)
3rd "Only dumb person questions who is smarter than who" for me.....it same goes for games
