This is not the infamous "Freeze Out" game during Jordan's rookie season. This is a charity game. They only ever had one NBA Allstar game in Chicago while Jordan was a Bull and that was in 1988 when he won his first Allstar MVP. Scottie Pippen's All Star Classic was another charity game held in Chicago that also raised money for Push-Excel.

Jordan averaged that his *rookie year!* Jordan consistently shot over 50% during the season. Kobe often shoots below 50%. Same goes for LeBron. Both commit 3+ turnovers a game.

The first clip is from the real all-star game his rookie year. That's the freeze out game. The push-excel game was the rookies vs. all-stars (not sure if they were all legit all-stars tho). They don't have that anymore.

I guess it is, the Magic game because it seems that we see it twice. I was talking about the red?black Air Jordan warmups in the beginning with the the reverse layups and dunks. Then you see later it looked like he was in a dunk contest with them on. I read that might have been the reason for the freeze out.

The warmup dunks are from a TV Charity Show where MJ played against Charlie and Martin Sheen. It was hilarious.

The freeze out happened during his rookie all-star game. MJ said he got into an elevator and saw Isiah and some other stars and was so nervous he couldn't talk. They thought he was being 'standoffish' and so they denied him the ball during the game.
