i have to agree with you Prestes Athena on the this. I think the whole "rape" was meaning more on eh lines of Seduced or taken..i'm not sure myself , but that's what i think, like when Hades "raped" Persephone, I heard the story as being Hades forcibly "Kidnapping (ie raped)" persephone , so taking her forcibly form the Earth above. So i look upon the myth as Persephone being Kidnapped and not Sexually assaulted in the sense of the word rape
