Your amendment was excellent,,its not surprising Obama and your own party didnt go along with it. Obama made promises to the drug companies for campaign contributions,, To bad he doesnt keep his promises to the american people as well. You gave it a Valiant effort,, at least you are trying...Keep up the good work.
It's too bad the amendment failed, especially since there was a slight majority in favor. Hopefully this issue can be brought up again in the not too distant future.

Oh I see... the ruling class has decided to throw the peasant class a crumb? A little drop in drug prices for a month or two, is that supposed to pacify the proles? Or maybe we peons should be grateful for what our masters give us? I certainly respect Sen. Dorgan for what he does in the Senate, but Sen. Dorgan is outnumbered. The system needs viable third and fourth political parties to keep the entire system honest. What a shame...
