if you can slice standing , how do you ride on a bike?. Are there special tires?. how do you turn into de corners without leaning dangerously?.

Well prepared and proper equipped (e.g. see the info on my homepage about tires, spikes, etc.) it is great fun to travel with a motorcycle on ice. It sure needs more organizing than traveling in summer, but the impressions you get and the experiences one makes are very much rewarding - I loved it!

I never thought that was possible. I have R850R with spoked wheels, bigger black tank and enjoy 'warmer summer' runs. Nervous on wet roads. Came off on ice twice years ago. Have to fight bad vibes and get confidence. Now 71, have ungraded from a Honda 90.

When I drive here in wintre in my littl 4x4 I always think for tires sticking 2 out of 4 is enough my moto does this most of the time in summer..lol but ice moto is no longer allowed in quebec in wintre without permit. My birthday is January and when I got my 17th birthday I was able to drive back in Manchester England and that day was ice n snow I had my feet down too Doris :-)
