It's curious to me why there hasn't been one picture of Kayleigh's little brother or even mention of him other than the fact we know he exists. Seems like they would show one of the parents at least grateful that he is still with them and maybe a picture of them hugging him. Just a curious thought.
I keep seeing a lot of pictures of her in water and in bathing suites, but I thought I heard someone on NG say she was afraid of the water? Does anyone recall this?
The father said she was afraid of the water. Apparently Haleigh either fell in at one time and then became afraid of the water. I can't remember who said that Haleigh had to be revived at the time she fell in the water. I would have to listen to all the shows again.
I imagine the 17 yr old kid (girlfriend) was jealous of the lil girl and Daddy's relationship. Why is the Daddy shacking up with a kid? Where are the 17 yr old's parents? Trash Trash Trash
maybe the father is only 20 or so... who knows. it is to bad.. but that is there relationship.. that has nothing to do with the daughter. they have said she passed 2 pollygraphs as did the father.. quit judging!!
Are they sure the mom didn't take her? I'd be kinda mad if my ex husband left my daughters in the care of a 17 year old girl. No body knows what these people are all about... just like BELTED007 said, good luck LE, these people are a little , uh, .... off?
My mom was 15 when she gave birth to me. My dad was 18. I am 32 and my mom is still married to my real dad and though we lived in a very small trailer in my younger years, my parents kept working blue collar jobs and we never went without the things we needed...food, shelter, and clothing. It may not have been top of the line...but they loved us dearly and they did good by both me and my sister. It's like that saying, "you can't judge a book by it's cover".
Also, I must add that my parents hung with bikers and people who drank and had other unsavory vices. Most are good people and have been in my life since I was a little girl. I applaud this family for swallowing their pride and continueing to work with the professionals and even being dignified about it. To me they seriously have more class than some of these educated idiots asking them insensitive questions....but then, you are whatever the press chooses to make you...

I never realized that about close in age exemption. I think kids today are way more advanced and mature than when I was a kid. Maybe the technology and exposure the kids have now. My 11 year olds are way more knowledgeable about things than I ever was at their age. Even my 5 year old blows my mind with the things she is aware of.
It seems kinda weird that if he started living with her when he was 23 and she was 16, that was legal, but then it became illegal when he is 24 and she is 17? (not saying they did get together aat those ages, I don't know. But I wonder if there is an exception for relationships that start while within the close in age exemption range, or if they expect people to break up for a year. )
If somebody wants in your home, they will get in your home. No alarm, no dogs. Just a 17 year old girl alone with 2 kids. I so fear the worst of the worst in this one and God, I pray I am so wrong.
