Good video the rx8 has low end torque so the ford will always get it in the beginning. I would love to see that race on a longer track. The Rx is coming out with a new engine called the 16x I think. The new RX8 looks ugly though overkill. Also the RX series will not be sold in the USA no more due to very low demand. I think ford should do something with the rotary engine. the rotary displacement is equal to twice the piston engine displacement... what that means is that for a 1.3L to be pushing over 230+ hp is an amazing motor, its twice the power of a piston. Good video the rx8 has low end torque so the ford will always get it in the beginning. I would love to see that race on a longer track. The Rx is coming out with a new engine called the 16x I think. The new RX8 looks ugly though overkill. Also the RX series will not be sold in the USA no more due to very low demand. I think ford should do something with the rotary engine. It's a good engine sad to see it go.

And Ford just announced the 600 HP GT500 as an answer. The engines includign the HEMI willl continue for racing options and enthusiasts. That has been confirmed. Ford is going global with the Mustang and it will keep an American styling flare and it will still have NA V8 options for the engine but it will also have European options for the engine and it's going ecoboost. They've been planning to cut the production of the rx-8 for a couple years, Mazda engineers wants to plant their eyes on the next step, just how like they always done... lmao rx-2, rx-3, rx-4, rx-5, rx-7, rx-8, now the rx-9 aka the new 7, and if you look at the time period all the models ended in production in similar rates, and always had emissions problems, they dont really care about that, in order to stop the emission problem they would have to stop making the engine lol

No. Remember that North American sales of the RX-7 ceased in 2002, a full two years before the RX-8 made its debut. Mazda’s market-by-market wind down of RX-8 sales may indicate a shift of resources towards the long rumored return of the RX-7. @TheRareone777 You said the Mustang sucked against your 30k RX8 against any Mustang including the 10 year old one that just beat it. Now your saying it's not designed for 1/4 mile times. Which by the way a 1/4 mile time is a very good test of how much power a car has and EVERY competent review site does those and is included as an overall score. I've read the reviews and I'm not impressed at all when compared to a Mustang that is.....

the rotary displacement is equal to twice the piston engine displacement... what that means is that for a 1.3L to be pushing over 230+ hp is an amazing motor, its twice the power of a piston. IF people actually knew how to take care of their renesis, it would actually be a very reliable engine, mine is at 100k, and ive had no issue with the rotary engine, its how you take care of it, obviously it takes a lot of mileage, but who the fuck buys racing coupes for gas mileage??
