  • I subscribed. . bcoz u r too pretty and beautiful and you are teaching us cool words

  • Thank you!

  • 1:05 for YSL :)

  • I love it

  • You don't HAVE to pronounce it exactly like her if you can't, just get the gist of it.

Like Geurlain. You don't have to say it exactly like her, using the throat, just don't say it "Gurr-lain" or something.

  • Thank you so much!!!

  • wow I have the same top you're wearing :o I'm from Singapore where did you get yours LOL

  • Love the French language!

  • Dear God I can not pronounce guerlain for the life of me....

  • hmmmm "cracks you up"

  • Excellent video! You are so cute! Maybe you can show hw to pronounce " Le Metier de Beaute"... LisaLisaD1 cracks me up, so cute how she tries to say it, she ends up saying LE MAYTAY DE BOTAY.

  • super excited about the next video!!

  • really educational!! thank you so much! ^_^

  • wait, i dont quite get the "yves saint laurent". can u spell it for me?, thanks =)

  • @parteypoison

YSL is in fact the abreviation of Yves Saint Laurent and that's the name of the company's founder.

His first name was Yves and his last name is comprised of 2 parts: Saint-Laurent.

    Is that what you needed?

  • thierry mugler

  • @mrhpu0711

OK! it's on my list for the next video :)

  • Thanks for this film! Fantastic! Now I know little bit more.. ;-)

  • @milakowa

    Thanks!

  • I loved this. I don't pretend to be French but I do try to pronounce the names as close to correctly as I can get. I spoke of L'Occitane in several of my videos and people always send me messages and tell me they always thought it was lo'-ki-tayne. Haha! Thanks for doing this. XOXO Heidi

  • @ekmayumi Hey Ekmayumi, thanks for watching!

No problem I'll add Avene to the list for Part 2 :)

But it's true that french is one of the most difficult language in the world and at least they try ! ^^

  • This is brilliant! I'm so glad you posted this video. I'm sure you know this but your English is flawless. Only the slightest accent. Amazing.

  • @primpeony Thanks! I lived in the US for a few years that must be why :)

  • Thanks! I speak spanish and french pronunciation is quite different! having both languages the same roots I thought that they were similar!

  • @1marielvis

French is a bit stiffer and pronounced from the nose, where spanish comes from the throat.

    I hope this helped!

    Cheers

  • Very helpful video!! Good job!! ;)

  • @stevoulina69 thank you!

  • Wow! First off... you are so beyond stunning! 2nd... THANK YOU for making this video. It was soooooo helpful. Now I won't sound so silly! :)
