Anyway, on that issue I think the key is to listen to the experts. Clearly the LNP/Labor solution isn't working. The statistics are shocking. A true understanding of any problem related to ethnicity must never warrant the descent into racism, and that is a concern on that issue regarding most of the populace. I'm not sure about your personal views on it, but either way I hope the solution is grounded in science not populism.

Labor have all but explicitly admitted they were wrong for all those years they demonised the Howard government for stopping people smuggling in our region and emptying and closing the detention centres and wrong to put us back to square one (although they're still badly mishandling the situation). The Greens have two choices - either withdraw their support or admit they were wrong too. Don't pick one of those and they'll cement their place in history as hypocrites not to be taken seriously.
