dude! can anyone help me? how do i make it so that the notes stop ringing?! any time i make a song on the piano thing, the notes just ring out a really long time and start overlapping and get all mushy and stuff.. but theyre just one note not a really long one.. please help! D:

@insanetoastman right click on a channel and select "cut itself." what this does is that when a new note is triggered, the playing note immediately stops its release (or ringing, in other words). great little trick for cleaning up your melodies. hope this helps

i was thinking the same thing! In the layer window, you click ont he little triangle next to "Layering" group children and name the group whatever. then, on the bottom right of your sequencer you can move around groups, and the layer plays whatever's in that group

Ok with the layering, I changed the pitch of a kick and the pitch and volume of a snare and tried layering them, when I layer it the changes to the pitch and volume don't stay with it what am I doing wrong?

second: Is there a possibility using layers to let the sounds cut themselves?

What I mean is that one sounds stops the moment you start the next sound on the same layer. I know you can configurate in the options of the single samples involved in the layer but thats a lot of work to do. Anybody knows another way to do that?

I wonder...is it possible to convert the individual tracks into individual wav files so that I can send them to a studio to mix the separate tracks (ala...seperate snare, bd, synth, audio vocals, audio guitars, bass...et al...INTO SEPARATE WAV FILES)?

After I have finish with a project I'd like to send the wavs to be reassembled as wav files on another DAW and then, mixed and mastered and sent back to me as a completely mastered song. Thanks again.

do the panning settings in each children still apply when they're played through the layer?

@GnaReffotsirk They do. At least from what I've tested, it seems the panning settings of the children are kept in tack but the panning settings of the layer are moot. So if for instance you have one instrument panned entirely to the right and your second instrument panned entirely to the left, that's how it will sound in the layer, but if you start turning the panning knob for the layer itself nothing seems to happen at all. But I've only tested this on a laptop with weak speakers.
