Why are you reving it so hard?

After 3k rpm the engine is dead!

Shift at ~3-3,2k rpm and it will go alot faster.

@perpelle I did that in the past. When I shifted at about 3k rpm to the new gear, it was at too low revs... so it sucked ass too :D

well, I've been driving this car for about a year and ~25000km. But not anymore, so I couldn't even do another comparison with the revs, but believe me, I tried many options with the shifting. This video was made on my last day with the ford and I just wanted to fucking rev this thing one last time seeing if it is better or not :D

And download the ford transit sale-brochure, there is a diagram there which tells you when you got the most "oumpf" at what revs. :)

I looked at the diagram in the brochure and at 3.5k is the most optimum revs to shift (for my 2012 at least).

The torque drops after 3k but the hp climbs to 3.5k.

So, we are both shifting wrong, lol.
