  • I love the video description to this. Great music and a little bit of history as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! :)!

  • its ok Alex! its for your own good!

  • Hallo Denise. Are you single?

  • i think it would be cool to have a metal version of this. I gotta get garageband out now :)

    good job though

  • Perfect! Congratulations.

  • Top notch performance Charles

  • There's no sound...

  • didn't deadmau5 do a remix of this

  • This is a very powerful note.

  • i have to say i listened to you play this and i had goose bumps listening to it and i have also saved it as a favourite i have to say i like the way its played your very telented

  • Check out my rendition of Conker the King!

  • not really... uh...well...no, that wasn't very good at all.

  • @missdenisehewit

It's so nice to see that someone these days actually appreciates real music I saw that you put a great amount of work in you deserve nothing but praise

  • Great interpretation! And your face of joy in the end fills me with happiness. :D

  • Great reproduction of a great score

  • Love that tune. Get the gulliver ticking, makes you ready for a bit o' the old ultraviolence.

  • I am having this played at my funeral as it's a tune! good work :) highly enjoyable

  • the original music was used on a funeral on queen mary?

  • @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa - The original music was composed by Henry Purcell in 1694 for the State Funeral of Queen Mary II in London, England;) Watm Wishes - DeniseX

  • Beautiful, I had the same goosebumps as in the original, so I guess you did a great job ;)

  • @jarou011 - I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my performance so much! You've made my day:) Warm Wishes - DeniseX

  • very nice playing Mrs Hewitt, hats off, greetings from Austria^^

  • That was awesome. :D

  • It's that wonderful - greetings from SK VÖEST LINZ !

  • Nice. I like the orange prop in the foreground.

  • it would be awesome if you played this again with the same sound but this time didnt rush it, i feel its slightly rushed, other than that awesome

  • awesome! great job

  • kinda odd henry purcell died in 1695 its liek his birth years swtch the numbers around

  • @MetalHeadWilson Check my channel. I uploaded it (and fought to keep i here through he DMCA)

The truth is, Walter Carlos cannot claim copyright of the performance of a piece when it was 1) written over 300 years ago & 2) Only changed instrumentation from the original and made no other significant changes.

  • Very nicely played hunni.

As for some of the negative comments from "stupid people"..I guess all us T/G women have to weather that once in a while.

  • excellent!!!!

  • Well done!

  • I am seriously starting to doubt wether denise ain't dennis...

  • That was great King William's wife.

  • Denise, this is gorgeous. How I envy you your talent! Thank you for sharing.

  • I want an orange soooooooo bad

  • can u refer me to music similar to this? i love this style of piano music sounds kinda eerie but not to dark ya know

  • Nice sounding rendition...what kind of instrument are you using? Is it an analog machine(like a moog?) or is that an actual organ? Doesnt quite have the same feel-exactly....but it does sound close, and certainly does the movie version of the tune justice! IMHO

  • Very beautifull interpretation of the original. Thank you!

  • Where did you find the music for this? It's beautiful and you did a great job on it

  • well done amazing!

  • Awesome (:

Love this music.. I didn't know it was written for a Queen's funeral, how ignorant I am xD

    Anyway, really good work (:

  • @MetalHeadWilson - The original music score was written by Henry Purcell for Queen Mary's Funeral in 1695. This was orchestrated for synth by Wendy Carlos but for copyright reasons is not available on YouTube, so I hope you enjoy my alternative which is taken directly from Purcell's 17thC score:) Warm Wishes - DeniseX

  • Cool.

  • Great performance! This is a powerful composition and you effectively maintained the essence of it.

  • exelentent perfect

  • I love clockwork orange movie!! your interpretation is awesome =)

  • GREAT *****

  • La truie tâte de l'organe! Souiller Purcell; quel scandale....

  • You rushed, but at least you gave the notes their due weight...

  • I think it's one of the best soundtracks ever :)

  • Nice version. It is one of my favourit film openings - another one is "Warmarch of the Priests" from the opening of "the Abominable dr. Phibes" played on a theatre organ.

Nice dress by the way :-)

  • Excellent!

  • I'd like to give her the in-out, in-out.

  • I'd have to tolchock you real horrrorshow on the litso, my little brother, for fillying with a devotchka what can play those fuzzy warbles so good.

  • @getlikemc That's a man lol...

  • @getlikemc It's a bloke.

  • Do you think you could send me the sheet music for this, please? :)

  • gave me tingles down me spine, no rap can do that bog bust and bleed you

  • You don't have to be one of Alex's droogs to viddy that this tune is real horrorshow!

  • i dont know who you are,but i love you simply for talking in that form. xDD

  • EPIC SONG. I LOVE YOU

  • Wow! it was beautiful! thnx 4 uploadin

  • I'm delighted that you enjoyed my interpretation and performance of this powerful theme tune:) Warm Winter Wishes - DeniseX

  • you are no woman.

your a man dressed like a woman

  • I'm transgendered as stated up front in my profile. Wendy Carlos, who orchestrated "A Clockwork Orange" was also transgendered. She was born as Walter Carlos, and became Wendy Carlos in the 1970s:) Warm Wishes - Denise

  • @MissDeniseHewitt Don't listen to some of these assholes. I think you and your music are beautiful.

  • @MissDeniseHewitt I knew the music was too good to be done by a woman :D

  • women tend to play piano rather well.

    Then there ARE (we're) some guys...Richard Wright...Elton John...John Lennon...Anton Lavey...

Usually people with "the artist's hands" and an "extreme" attitude or ideas, but not necessarily eccentric. Rick Wright was hardly eccentric. Gender only means so much.

Playing organs or piano is like saying.."Forget my larynx. I'm going to speak through this instead and say it even more clearly."

  • Billy Joel.

  • Originally demons and angels were supposed to represent our vices and virtues, and even when they became anthropomorphized into actual things they were supposed to speak through emotion, without any words at all.

So doesn't that mean music is the language of the angels and the demons? With music you can make people feel good or bad, angels and demons.

  • @ravenvlucht

who gives a fuck if she is a woman or not, thats not the point in this matter, she is playing music that is appreciated which is more said and done then what you have accomplished..go crawl into your hole and hope its the 18 hundreds again so this would actually be a big deal you douche.

  • @watahh how do you know she accomplished more than me.

take it easy dont get mad at me.

    i just sad a fact.

  • Some other "posters" are a tad rude - this is ...... OK. The tinkling ivories are clinking right tuneful an' bright. A right cosy play round real tuneful brightlike. Music music makes the soul like.

  • Bravo Bravo lovely music to my ears gets me pump up for some old Ultraviolence!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Look at the orange-fruits...

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... ahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg get a metronome

  • I know right?

    Absolutely horrible.

  • Id love to be able to play this..

  • Agreed.

Most rap sucks. Great rap is as rare as spotting a shitting unicorn.

Cage's "Agent Orange" [v=H69PoZWNgzE] samples this theme. This theme samples Henry Purcell - Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary.

If you heard the rap beat first, you'd probably say it sucks--but if Wendy Carlos literally replays an old song note for note on a synthesizer, it's *real* music.

You're entitled to your opinion, this is just a thought I'm posting.

  • This is beautiful...where do you get the sheet music? Were you able to download it online? If so, where?

  • right here from youtube :)

  • Durango 95 w/be 'cash for clunkers' material now. Yikes.

  • You're saying it sucks without justification. You're overgeneralizing music. Listen to Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip and you'll see what I mean.

  • You know what sucks? Genre hate. Listen to Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, and stop overgeneralizing music.

  • right on RetroGamer100; listen to what you like, NOT what's trendy, rap does suck

  • Rap sucks? Your an ignorant little fuckhead, music is music, but apparently you don't understand.

  • not all rap my friend, just new school, I love old school, I assume if you think lil whyte is cool than you should probably jump in front of a train, this music, you fucking retard is better than any rap that's come out in the past 5 years. bring back eazy, kill emeneim

  • fuck rap

  • You kids are so stupid lol

  • rap is so stupid lol

  • Amen

  • Denise - I love your 'Dark Orange'. You are A1, Denise.

  • it is and if you ever visit my neck o' the woods it is here waiting for ya,,,I love Shelly too

  • What's waiting for me there? Your chunky ass?

    No thanks fag lol

  • This isn't bad at all, you're timing at the start was a little off but got better as you played, really well-done.

  • ravestI?

  • I'm transgendered, as was Wendy Carlos who orchestrated Purcell's March for the Original Clockwork Orange Film:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • amazing!

  • Naff vid but played very beautiffuly. love that score

  • PLEASE tell me where you got the music from

    !!!!!

  • my favourite song

  • THIS IS A TRANNY

  • I'm not sure about your capital letters! I'm transgendered as was Walter / Wendy Carlos who arranged the Purcell March for A Clockwork Orange:) Best Wishes - Denise

  • Wow really? That's a cool fact to now. :)

  • This is a musician :)

  • why, does it matter if she's transgender? that's irrelevant! Denise, you're a great musician! & Stanley Kubrick's use of classical music in his films was genius

  • ok, ok, ok played too well (beatiful)

but I have a doubt, what you played at the beginning, it was recorded? because i do not listen to sound?

sorry, I do not speak English well

  • Thanks for viewing! All my music videos are recorded "live" by video:) Warm Wishes - Denise

  • nice job.Sounds great.

  • I'd give her/him one..

  • sounds great! where did you get the sheet music for this?

  • rulz !!!!!

  • Wendy Carlos was also transgender. If you like this music you should download Autechres spectacular live set for BBC Radio1's Breezeblock show. It features a lot of Clockwork Orange as well as drawing from Tod Dockstader's Quatermas and lots of other cool stuff. Highly recommended.

  • un escalofrio mayor recorre mi cuerto, y.. al instante me lagrimean los ojos... me conmueve

  • This is simply amazing!

  • LOVED IT!!! that was claaaasic!!

  • Ok, I know I am going to sound like a dork, but the film was formalistic. I am not really nagging nobody I just want to share my knowledge of the film class I am taking . . . I guess that is bragging though. Either way don't take it personal.

  • ...wanker.

BTW, great playing by the organist.

  • It seems formalistic now, but for film as of 1971, it broke up new ground. It's not perfect, but it's very well done.

  • Well that was what I was saying. Formalistic films tend to stray away from the usual and give a new perspective.

  • you are great! i loved this

  • Yay!

    Awesome. :D

  • Every time I hear this sing, I think of the quote. " Whats it going to be than, eh?"

  • I love that song, what a magnificent score, very well done!

  • I'm delighted that you enjoyed my interpretation of this haunting tune that was composed by Henry Purcell - more than 300 years ago:) Warmest Wishes - Denise

  • Denise iyi güzel çalmışsında keşke kendi videonu koymasaydın bütün duygunun azına sıçmışsın o tipinle:)gerçi beni anlamıyacaksın o yüzden bu kadar açık sözlüyüm seni seviyoruz!haha:D

  • I'm thrilled to have fans all the way from Turkey - I've visited Istanbul several times and adore Turkish Culture, Food and People:) Warmest Wishes - Denise

  • where would this have been played on in the time it was composed??

Not a piano or an organ, right?

  • This original theme for Queen Mary's funeral march was composed in 1695 and arranged for 4 trumpets by Henry Purcell., each trumpet playing one part of the dramatic harmonic chords:) Kind Regards - Denise

  • trumpets... hey, i've never heard that before... how would that sound, even more dramatic i guess..!

Thanks Denise!! Greatly appreciated, keep up the good work (both the background knowledge and the musical/artistical progession)!

  • About your gender (Or re-assignment therof) I care not. I applaud your musical skills, and thank you for sharing them. Besides, I think you're just Keith Emerson in drag, looking for a comeback. Heh.

  • I really love the works of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, especially their "I believe in Father Christmas" which uses the Troika Sleigh Ride theme from Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kijé Suite! But I'm not Keith Emerson in drag! LOL! I'm simply ME:) Best Wishes - Denise Hewitt

  • Awesome job on the piano.

  • Bliss and heaven!
