I must say, afetr all of the comments regarding the AVGN and his potential reaction to this game...As much as I love his reviews, I think his attempts at these games would be kind of lame. I don't think it would be the same without Kiba's patience -- pretty sure James would quit after an hour or two -- and, as these vids contain some of the most frustrating video game deaths that have ever been recorded, the footage REALLY speaks for itself. Behind every death is a slew of swears no doubt!

I actually think this level's easier than the one with all the moving platforms. At least this level takes a break with the close to impossible jumps, except for the beginning and end, but the creator needs to seriously take a break with the coin blocks. They're abused so badly in hacks.

i have to agree with mr. indigopeach on this one, it doesnt take long to realize what makes a level hard, show him dying on something a few times, in different ways and the point is across, obviously this guy died a million times trying to beat these ridiculous levels, these videos need not be 7-10 minutes long each, they could prolly show everything they need to show in about 4, the important part is the run through where he actually makes it anyways

I have to respectfully disagree: to me, you both are still not quite getting the point.

The whole premise of these videos is based upon the humor of the grotesque difficulty of the Kaizo Mario romhack. It isn't supposed to "show that a level is hard"; the difficulty of this rom is blindingly obvious to anyone who's ever played SMW.

You don't find this funny? Fair enough. But the humor of each level having to be repeated hundreds of times to complete it is exactly the point of this series.

that is a good point, that probably explains the repetition, the humor for me was in just how ass hole-ish the levels could be, the shock factor of "wow he is really making you do THAT?" is what gets me, i like the segments that show all the keyword: different ways he has died, and even the short like 2-3 sec segments that show how repeatedly he dies on particularly hard sections. what get me are the very long segments of repeated death on things we've seen before
