I woluld like to see Christophe Pinna in a fight against Okinawa-Ryu Styles' Masters (for ex. Shorin-Ryu, Goju-Ryu,Wado-Ryu etc.) Sensei Pinna is great Shotokan fighter, but there is a question: is Shotokan as effective as okinawan styles?

Not really. Yes, he practiced taekwondo but if you look at competitiors like Biamonti, Lefèvre, Otto you'll see the same kicks being used even though they didn't practice TKD. Those high kicks are an important part of modern karaté because of the sanbon point system.
