  • Press 2 for some step.... and then some more step.

  • I like the awkward high-five at the end of the video.

  • I did my first lesson! (here with you)

  • parang mga tanga

  • Lol, the high 5 at the end. XD

  • Thanks for the awesome :)

  • how can i get this vid. for a project ?

  • @333MotoMoto There's a program called "download helper" that's an add on to Fire fox that let's you save movies. It's not a very good instructional video though. I'd recommend getting something off of the "swing dance shop" website. :-)

  • Dear Lord, That's my cousin Cindy and forgot to put on her underwear!

  • i'd like to know a little bit more about cindy

  • High five!

  • My feet has balls?!?!

  • @Mawyvoltash the part of your foot right after your toes, on the bottom, is called the "ball" of the foot......

  • thats not it..... U go foward back rockstep i take lessons at school and we do competions and i have won 3 4 the swing! this isnt th basic swing :/

  • @Tiaraluveschris When you call something "the swing" you automatically lose credibility. Incidently, what kind of swing are you talking about? You do realize there is more than one kind of swing dance, right? There's East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Carolina Shag, DC Hand Dancing, Jive, Modern Jive . . . I could keep going. All of these dances have different basics and philosophies because swing dances are folk dances.

  • *high five*

  • Please think about moving the captioning to some other position on the screen. Too many times it blocks what your feet are doing which makes it difficult to learn the "steps".

  • @Lawmtho Click on the button in the right corner of the video that looks like and up arrow. Then click on "cc" to turn off the captions.

  • Thanks for this lesson! :)

  • This dance is silly and corny. If you really want to learn swing that is easy and

fun, learn ceroc, also known as modern jive (no not ballroom jive). Ceroc or

Modern Jive is very popular in the UK, Australia and New Zeland. For some

reason, it never caught on in the US. See danceyourselfdizzy(dot)com

  • Great video to get a small head start if you're planning on taking lessons!!!!

As a beginner, all the different dances/names got/get very confusing, and this was a great place to start as it is about as simple as it gets.

West Coast Swing is very obscure in the Minneapolis relative this East Coast- You can teach a follower East Coast in a moment- and you can dance variations at a 'club' to fit in with 'freestyle' dancing.

    It's just plain fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You should actually learn the triple step variation of east coast swing rather than the single step. This syncopation is what makes swing . . . swing. This will also help you along in eventually moving on to Lindy Hop or West Coast Swing.

  • lol ..

    thanks for the steps

  • @1958mjj143 lol I see what you did there. =P

  • Well done

  • thanks for the lessons, i really wanted to learn some swing dancing

  • across the floor
