My only reason for believing is that I have had two near death experiences, and I survived in tact on both occasions. These instances were so bad that many doctors actually thought I would have died in just a matter of hours. Sometimes you need to have a horrible experience happen to you before you start to believe there is another force at work. Albert Einstein seemed to think so.

So...regarding Adam and Eve...got permits Satan to tempt them in the garden, but tempt is all he does. It is Eve, then Adam, that 'commit' the sin. My question is this, if Adam and Eve are so beloved by God, why would he even allow Satan near them? Was this a test? If so, why? And finally, why does God not just kill off Satan? Isn't He more powerful? Or does God's power depend on our allegiance to Him? I'm so confused about this.

@68buickwildcat I always thought that yes, Adam and Eve in the Garden and the serpent being allowed to come near them is a test of his creation and their faith. Remember that Satan, like God is battling it out for human souls. But the best teacher to answer your questions would be a minister at the local church.

@68buickwildcat Part 1 of 2-Yes, it was a test of trust and obedience. God gave us all free will. He told Adam of which fruits to eat and not to eat. Eve was tricked by Satan because she wasn't there for the creation. Adam was, so eve would have her doubts about what God can do. By giving us free will we have the CHOICE to decide good or evil. If there was only good, then it wouldn't be free will since we would have no choice in any decision, we'd be like robots....onto part 2

If God destroyed satan right now, then all the people who haven't turned to Christ would be killed too since they are sinners like Satan. Since God loves us so much he wants as many souls to come to him before he destroys sin. If you partake in sin WITHOUT repenting then you're no better than the devil, since satan is the father of sin, and you'll be condemned to Hell with him. God is patient. But when he's had enough, he'll return and that's it.

islam has nothing to do with Judaism and Christianity. Either one or the other is truth.When you crack open a koran you will see that it steals alot of content from the bible. Reason why I say one or the other is real is because the God of islam says jews are not the chosen people,israel doesnt belong to them, abraham and other decisples are not jews and most important that Jesus is not a jew and not God. Koran was written after the Bible plus holds no prophesies fulfilled like the bible.

Galatians 1:8 PROVES that the quran was not revealed by Gabriel, but Satan

Surah 3:93, 10:94, 5:68 all point to the Torah and Gospel being perfectly preserved and that we should use them as guidance.

If Muhammad was a prophet then why doesn't he know where he will go after he dies? Surah 46:9. And in Surah 7:188 he doesn't know the future.

Islam teachings and the quran have so many contradictions.. 5 of them were just proved.

@gospelapostle Ofcourse, that's like saying 'believe me, everyone else is a liar'. On the surahs, I have no idea how you think they point to being preserved. Muhammed was sent to Saudi Arabia to change the ways of the idol worshiper, he sent many signs of the last day and he also taught the believers about 'The Last Hour'.

@PapuhLeanDocka If you crack open the Old Testament and Sumerian tablets you will find the same stories including the deluge or flood but with more Gods in it not the one god, all religions took from there neighbor religions, the Jewish people left Egypt went to Canna took there traditions and beliefs, made a one God but they started off with more then one god and later on switch it up, so they can be different in a way and made a nation under the beliefs of others and so did Christianity

I'm not a religious nut by any means really but I do believe in a God. I also believe Gods wrath will inflict us all. Religious or not. It doesn't matter because only through his wrath in those final days will you truly be tested into being a true follower. Your faith in those horrible times will truly be tested. I know this because the followers that need no test will supposedly already have been raptured away. Why else do this unless to give wrath to the rest of the planet?

I happen to be a Church going person and i'm aware very clear that Satan is my hated and feared enemy. And he'll try to tempt me into sin but his evil plans will backfire. Because i'm a follower of Jesus Christ and as long i stay loyal to my Christian faith, Satan is powerless to spiritual attack me.

@wmansue Not quite. Its just what is described- a battle of souls. God- Jesus and the Holy Spirit are of one. Spiritual warfare is all around us, due to this fallen world. However, as part in God's plan is for man to trust in him so we might have eternal life. Satan controls all the evil you see in this world, and God allows bad things to happen. As Christians we say "We walk by Faith, not by Sight".
