i dont get it...they scratch it with the rubbing compound and then they apply wax..what happens when the wax comes off???

Basically the rubbing compound removes the scratch by smoothing out all the harsh edges in the scratch, then the polishing compound removes the small scratches the rubbing compound put in it with very very small scratches, then the wax fills in those microscopic scratches and makes it shine.

you can use 91% rubbing alcohol in place of the "solvent" in the kit. Also, the glue from Walmart works better than the glue in the kit.

I believe it is the "ding king dent repair kit". i went to Checkers Auto Parts and they have it or something similar for about 20 bucks. I didn't find it at Advanced Auto Parts.

Advanced Auto Parts did have the turtle wax rubbing and polishing compound as well as the wax.

that thing that takes the dents off is called Ding King Dent Repair Kit... you can find them in any pepboys or autozone store... I just bought one today, and I'll try to get my dent off this weekend. Hopefully, it will take the dent off.
