  • "Test run " LOL cause there is no real run!

same story every time with these bullshit videos -- probably using it to extort more money from his rich relatives to 'keep working on it' to 'iron out the bugs' to 'show he is close' blah blah blah

fuck sake, dipshits. the lot of ya!

  • Could possibly be remade into a time tunnel for small rodents, though

  • Notice how you have to PUSH the car into the magnets on each end?

This is the energy you are putting into the system that moves the car thru the magnets.

  • should make more powerfull adeptation and launch these rings in space vacuum so we can launch massive amounts of building equipment from earth orbit two the moon.

  • Do it all the way with the rings....

  • make this but in a full circal cars are awsome

  • That was...(yawn)...amazing

  • magnets are to much money..!

  • Wow you've made a really slow rail gun... maybe with somework u might beat the US Navy's railgun... or not

  • looks like fun

  • This looks promissing not impossible like the liberal say it is.

  • just in time for xmas market

  • That's fairly useless.

    Nice fail.

  • I give all of the those who "try" an E for effort!!! But spare us the computer animations!.....Get your hands dirty then suffer the humiliation like the wrest of us. ...you will get over it.....then continue on and build a different one.

  • What are you even trying to achieve in this vid?

  • i unno but the amount of energy pushed if he took the magnets away would the car go the same distance?

  • buddy we are grown people here, what the heck is this?

  • @mouayad888 Whatever they want it to be, more than your doing.

  • this is a good idea in theory but would be totally impractical for anything but trains and subways. it could only work in the vehicle was traveling in the center of the magnets. so no 2 lane/track applications allowed. and as far as being able to stop/change direction using electro magnets... they would have to be powered by and on the vehicle itself. the power to make the whole track electrofied would be too huge.

  • @honorhound Dont be so quick to judge, its a very small scale thing that has a lot of room to be worked with.

  • @honorhound you mean like the hover trains. those things are cool

  • this is awesome! if you had alot more rings, and even made the rings electromagnets, and had a program turn the magnets on and off, i bet you could get that car to move and stop without even touching it...

    pure awesomeness!

  • have you used any dry lubricant? friction is killing you.

  • make more ring

  • it works better if you make choooo chooo sounds.

  • lol

  • lol

  • into hyperspeed! :D

seriously. this could be 'hyperspeed' for trains.

    you know, in the FUTURE.

  • quante cz<zate inventano sti stranieri xD

  • Science does not require belief, only absurd concepts require belief.

  • The energie it requires to push it in the first ring is the same as the energy of the moving train.

  • Your blind and mean. Arrogant. I hate people like you.

What you're seeing is genius. The future.

  • It's cute, but it doesn't have much potential outside of being a toy. It doesn't work, and never will, because it violates very simple laws of physics.

  • hey i can see it now at disneyland!! problem being ... controlling this death machine,,, getting big/enough rare earth magnets/ or supermagnets,,,yea it would be fun ,, but lets think power here,, not fun..

  • They already have it. The equivalent device that uses gravity is a roller coaster. You give it a good push to get it to the starting point with high potential energy, then the energy from that initial climb takes you to the end.

    Same thing here.

  • you people have alot of time to do

  • you need to look up linear motors. They use electromagnents that are triggered at a certain time so it pulls the magnent foward but shuts off as it crosses the poles of the magnent... that way the magnent doesnt stop.

  • If you covered the whole road in magnetic rings wouldnt it go 4ever?

  • i dont think so... the magnent that it passes has the same pull as the magnent that its approaching so it would just stop

  • Linear motors only work because the electricity powering the magnets provides the energy for motion.

  • exactly... and electricity powers them.

  • The only energy here is the energy you used to push the device into the magnetic field. Also, closing the loop is not so easy. Good luck, none-the-less..

  • Isn't this the same concept as bullet trains?

  • I make so many prototypes of magnet motors with different concepts and combination. I concluded that the cogging of magnets as the N passes to S will always present as the strumbling block no matter how you arrange it. Worst if you use a shield will only increase the cogging thus creating a brake. 8 years later of trying and US$280K of prototypings I think I am not going no where.

  • why stop now, have you not believe anymore?

  • If you install more rings there will be a point the car will not cross - unfortunately.

  • not really. the distance it travelled ,if it was on a larger scale, would be a bit of a free ride !!!

  • If you make it long enough, it will just coast to a stop in the middle. The only energy given to the cart is that of the guy pushing it against that initial repulsion at the start. It meets an equal force at the end and is stopped by it. But there is also friction along the way and no additional energy added.

  • If you put rings all the way around it won't work. The force that your applying pushing the roller towards the gate is like loading a magnetic spring. The sling shot effect will not continue in a continuous loop. You can do the same thing w/ magnetics toys. Search "tri gate"

  • so when do you get rings all the way round?

  • definetly the most cost efficent way to solve the oil crisis

  • A rail gin would be much much better

  • In the beginning of the first ring. That person had to put the same ammount of energy to overcome that magnetic bump to gain forward trust. You can see it as a rollercoaster. Putting a car up the hill and then let it down.

Magnets are no miracle. Just do some STUDY's pleaseeee

  • This proves perendev will not work.

  • Well, this proves nothing. How could we compare with something like Perendev's engine noone knows anything about? Please spare me...

  • maglev trains, a similar concept using magnets for acceleration, have already been successfully implemented in Japan and several European countries. Of course they use electro magnets, but that is a necessity since it is rather unfeasible to work with huge rare earth magnets. It still very energy efficient and does not violate any laws of conservation.

  • lol as if they do. u have watched too many fantasy films mate.

  • lol as if they do. u have watched too many fantasy films mate.

  • great, now post a video where those nice circular magnets surround the entire track, and show the car going round and not stopping and you will be a millionaire, a hero among the scientific world. all thats stopping you is friction, air resistance, and energy conversion laws. good luck my friend, at least you are having fun failing =D

  • hahah!!

  • in other words, every known law of physics and especially the 2nd law of thermodynamics

  • nice job

  • well, sounds nice, "transportation of the future".. but imagine the needed energy you need to create such ways! ;) ..

  • Transportation of the future
