  • Intriguing Tine, you have done well with this theme. Hope you will continue and show us more. Lighting and colours and animations are well chosen. I think that your intentions have been indicated with the responses. Stoic and proud Tine....your are truly remarkable.

You have such great understanding .....as we know!

    xx Susan

  • @BravuraK

Thank you a lot Susan.....step by step my understanding is growing.....but i am surprised how well it works.....i was so much in fever and intuition as i addet it.....now i like the result a lot.....i did not plan to make a film with now....but than zhere was a bit time....and the film wanted out.....wanted to live.....Thank you....you are still a wonderful teacher!

Thank you Bea......it is good to look a lot and...than to try step by step.....something of the things you would like to try.....i`m looking forward for your work.....let me know!

  • I like this music, and the dancing puppets! You say this is about life, yes, there is a lot of vital harmony in this dancing skeletons, it looks as if they accepted happily their final dance as their destiny in the dance of life..an optimistic point of view! :-)

  • @rapidopato

I think, you hit the nail again....vital harmony...hmm.....and yes....it is maybe an optimistic point of view....

Thank you for your wake eyes!

have my best wishes for your 2012!

    Tine

Danke für den Ausflug...Happy New Year;-)

    Frank

  • @FrankRMusic

    Alles Gute,

    Tine

  • I was thinking Saint-Saëns from the title, but I like Schubert, too. I like this, Tine. Isn't it interesting how you can change everything by removing something? If two people are shown dancing it means one thing. Remove their clothes and it means something else. Remove their flesh and it means something else entirely. And yet all of those things (the flesh, the clothes, the people themselves) were there from the beginning. I know, strange thought, but I sometimes have them.

  • @songblurred

i am surprised that the vid get such a deepness. I had only a bit fun at first to animate the puppets, but i am surprised to see such a lot love in it...and it makes that we have to think about such themes. At first i thought, perhaps it is not the time to put it now on YT, but now i feel that the time is not so bad...we call this time the RAUH-NÄCHTE...the time between x-mas and 3 Kings, 6th january...it is the time between the years...they have another rhythm. THANX!

  • @tinitussi21 I didn't know that about Jan 6th. It was my dad's birthday. He would have been 94. It was not very sad, his dying, because he had a good, fairly long life, but I sometimes miss him this time of year.

  • Leonard Cohen... comes to mind xxx

    This was/is brilliant x

  • @HopeWithPandora Elle vous correspond à merveille

  • @LuceBrera you pollute the atmosphere Luce... and trail/troll my every move.

Residential homes need you... I am sorry I can't look after you... I have a life x

    Where is Elise???

  • @HopeWithPandora

Thanks....wow....big compliment, i think.....i will look for Leonard Cohen....thank you!

    Hugs

  • Death and the Maiden has such a rich history. When I teach "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" I always make a point to discuss it; the students are usually very intrigued. Maybe next time I teach it, I will show your video to my class. (We have access to YouTube in the classroom, which is really cool for seeing examples of what we are studying.) I'm enjoying the first day of the new year. I'm trying to write "heavy metal" songs, but I suspect that I'm really a "folkie" at heart.

  • @BloodTrucksandBeer

i am touched of this theme since i was 16. I saw this theme the first time in school, in "german"...so if you want to use it, it would be a honor...even thought i did not use a maiden...but Schubert found its way into a lot of famous films, who worked with the theme...i think there exist a film with Ben Kingsley...and others...hmm...i just addet it today very intuitiv...had in one special moment the idea to search for Schubert.

    heavy-metal? I will look.
