i saw weezer in sf about a month ago...it's ridiculous how much they've changed from then to now. Rivers like, barely played guitar, when they played my name is jonas he wasn't even on stage, and they did a little "montage" type song where they covered lady gaga, mgmt and coldplay. super lame, those bands should be covering weezer, not the other way around. it's sucha shame that they've become the band they are today

It really annoys me how so many people absolutely HATED this album when it came out (worst album of the 90's? Come on) , and when Weezer is forced to change their style because of it, everyone starts loving the album and then they hate Weezer for their change... This album is like Rivers' diary, of course he's distancing himself from the music because he doesn't want the kind of shit he got for Pinkerton. I wish he would write like he used to, though.
