I saw this performed live, and the actor who played Malvolio looked and sounded very much Alan Rickman. The creepiness of this scene was much much worse.
why doth thou lady not see thy love her splender beauty for love is what i am plagued with love for thou sweet lady olivia huh as do i sigh for my lovesicknes and i do so wish to be by thy loves side to thy ladys side but my music does not play these lips that long or her for no love do i recieve from thou lady so sweet and these hearts that do reach to take her to thyn bed and to keep these fantasies into actions but my bossom akes for her and so doth this rechad duke let him shoo and die
my favorite people in this movie: firstly, duke orsino for his looks, secondly, sir andrew for his idiocy - makes the film so much more interesting... and altogether the whole cast!

Olivia isn't even all that attractive anyway. What could any handsome Duke see in her? She's like a few months away from becoming a repulsive hag. Evidence that Orsino had impaired vision.
Sir Nigel Hawthorne is wonderful as always! Such a great loss that he died... A truelly genious actor! I really regret noone thought of him playing the role of Verdi. I think it would've been great. And now it's too late... We love you, Nigel Hawthorne! We'll always remember you!
I love the part where he checks his watch against the sundial, then adjusts the SUNDIAL instead of his watch! Such a perfect expression of how egotistical he is.
@fireheart890 Haha! I watched this in class today, and laughed like a dork when that happened. Everyone in class was half asleep, and they turned around and stared at me. Then they asked the teacher to rewind it... Way to kill it, class!
No way is Malvolio just doing his job, Its not his job to try to bad mouth everyone to Olivia and its not his job to keep people in line unless Olivia tells him to. He just likes to be the boss, IMHO. I think he gets what he deserves. Just like any bad management usually does in my experience.
Malvolio is a bit of a pervet felling that statues butt and looking her boobs
