  • The guy asking the question at the beginning of this video . . . is an absolute fucking horror story.

That Wilber doesn't tell him as much . . . in turn tells you a lot about Wilber's agenda.

  • "The south would institute segregation"?!!.."Homophobia will be allowable"?!! Ken, you're unhinged. Its a shame when people go beyond what their expertise is and spout off the top of their heads. Its a sad commentary no one in the audience would challenge him on own his wreck-less commentary.

  • @jonboy700..You clearly don't understand what he's talking about!.. I wouldn't expect you to though, unless your at one of the higher levels of development it's hard to grasp.

  • @jonboy700 I think the point is that our laws cannot be based on a one person one vote majority rules system. For instance it says in our constitution that our government cannot endorse any religious view, so we uphold that rule regardless of if 51% or more of a given voting body is of the same specific religion. The point is that there is a developmental bell curve and we are hopefully aiming to uphold tenants such as equality before majority agreement.

  • Hmmm Kens approach is interesting in the way that consciousness is classified into sections.

There is a reason we cant measure consciousness, because everyone is at different stages of realization of identification. But I do like this new approach in putting stages of consciousness into sections. It would be nice to know how and why consciousness does rapidly transform. after all two people can hear the same thing, but hear to completely different ideas.

  • I like what he has to say. He is not an either/or type. he is an As Well As. type. this to me is the most of validation factor of his "philosophy" which reminds me a lot of Bruce Lee when he sounded crazy talking about "no way as way" Bruce Lee was all about the integration of martial art styles. He said no one style is right but that each style had something with in them to add to your "style of no style". The more cards in the deck the less predictable the outcome of the shuffle.

  • "yeah Bill Clinton and I are mad chill. Props to Bill.. ANYway, integral awareness...." -- haha that was definitely a plug. Ken is a funny dude.

Hopefully these ideas will pick up more over time. What's popular these days? Pop-psychology? Growth-oriented schools are important too, don't think it's evident enough in popular culture.

  • Now that's a generalization if ever saw it. I think the only consciously puppet was, amazingly Bush (senior and junior both actually). Obama heard of this stuff and was scared to death apparently. I agree that there is an NWO planning to rise, but the NWO is actually based on stupidity and will self-destruct (with all people along with them). The so called power elite, which is not the same as the developmental elite in the biopsychosociological sense will go down with the ship of human venture.

  • so what the fuck happened??

Tony Blair, George W Bush, Obama , Gordon Brown. All puppets for evil NWO eugenicists, elite bankers, weapons dealers and drug dealers.

  • Let's help each other develop and evolve and then become wisdow leaders to the leaders. If not us then who?

    May all beings be love.

  • Ken Wilber is politically speaking, warped. Incredibly naive or... maybe rightwing?

Ex. I recall what he said about Tony Blair during the buildup to the Iraq War. The average British citizen had more understanding, more awareness in their pinkie finger than Wilber. Blair was "Bush's poodle" and he was DEAD WRONG about the war.

  • The way I see it, the ideas about an integral politics that he talks about are themselves sound and genial, but the way he relates them to the world itself is very naive. The third way may be right on the money, but it has gotta come through post-money based means, if at all possible. I think Wilber needs to re-familiarize himself with what money right now is all about - manufacturing of fake money. His integral institute was created because, like all of us, use of (paper) money, indirectly.

  • You lost me with "fake money".

The way I see it, screw big theories and systems because reality is messy and those fancy maps confuse people with the territory staring them right in the face.

Actually, I have doubts about "Eastern Thought" as well.

    READ _Zen At War_

    **CHILLING**

  • I know Zen at War. I know that all kinds of ideologies and ideas can be per-verted. It depends on the motivations, ethics and developmental levels and informedness. The maps shouldn't be punished, the people should be. Rather integral, in my mind at least, is to not confuse the territory with the map, even though sometimes the territory and the map coincide. Though with the word map I eam a dynamic model that evolves with experience. I have first hand experience awith regard the messiness. :)

  • Appreciate your thoughtful replies...

Look at it like this? Was Wilber right about the Iraq War? No. He is a center-right thinker. As for ecology, Wiber and co. seem pretty cool with big business -- there is a fundamental conflict between corporations and environmentalism. Integral would be for those "green" meme people to be less hostile to business!

  • Good criticism of trite views, my friend. I'm not all the way with his views, just so you know.

  • @S2Cents

I'm MaBu888. I'll address one thing about Ken Wilber: he is, or 'ought' to be an apolitical as well. If I was him, I wouldn't touch politics in the way he has. I just don't identify with the social hologram in the way Wilber has chosen to do. I don't go along with a framework created by one man, even if compiled, Wilber's or any other's. I got my own. So, as you can se, if I put it into words, I am kind of critical of Kewn Wilber's thoughts on politics.

  • @S2Cents

I'd like Ken Wilber address the concept of free will, to be even more precise than he is now. The problems arise with the energies and information one is willing to receive and to automatically buy into - telepathically, through self-imposed neurolinguistic programming. The integral shield is a mental one - 3rd chakra - not much of a protective shield, while the 9th chakra of pale silver light is which is meant for protection and deep healing.

  • Fake money - what people refer to as money - in actuality money is being printed out of thn air by whoever want or can... causing money to lack value. There needs to be a movement back to VALUE based economics, coupled with an integral ecology of course. :)

  • What is with Wilber's compulsive sniffing in every video on YouTube?

  • Not sure why he sniffs so much but he is unwell now - so who knows - it may have something to do with that!

  • The sniffs are Rnase syndrome. very rare. unfortunately not related to cocaine. ;)

  • Was his filmed with a cel phone?? haha, thanks anyway!

  • Bill Clinton, Karl Rove, Jeb Bush and Al Gore couldn't give a damn about genuine integral awareness. They and their handlers are simply interested in co-opting whatever they can to continue aggregating power.

  • I have been a great fan of Ken Wilber's work for a long time. But one thing that has been bothering me recently is the naivtee that he has with respect to politics that was mentioned below. I am not sure if he simply prefers to speak in the ideal or if he genuinely isn't aware of the true elements of power (ala The Esoteric Agenda). Either way, I think that he needs to be extremely careful about commenting on this topic.

  • DustTown, how old is this? When/where was it taped?

  • Sorry! I just saw the slate at the end. Never mind. :)

  • You can start going further down this rabbit hole by watching the video: The men behind Barack Obama with Webster Tarpley. Who are the people behind Zbignew Brezinsky? How extensive is the influence of the Rockefeller family in the U.S. power system? What is the Bildeberg Group and who set it up?

  • Ken seems to be naive about who the real power players in our world are. He seems to think that they are the visible political leaders. Deception is widespread in the natural world and is very obviously employed in duping the masses as to the real systems of control that are in place.

  • I for one cannot comment on this.

  • can you be more specific? What are the specific people you are thinking of? I can think of George Soros.

  • @DustTown I think Edyersh is speaking about the private bankers who control everything...except for the fact that the bankers are of course controlled by the reptilians....who are controlled by the opus dei at the center of the earth, who came from a wormhole that can't be detected because of the magnetic field of the earth...which was swallowed by a cat, who swallowed a mouse. wait, i lost myself there.

  • @DustTown At this point its not even people that you can point to, its holonic persons created by the characters and personalities of corporations such as Monsanto, the major banks and banking institutions of the world, and the think tanks like the committee of three hundred. Some groups keep their members a secret, others are simply corporations. However they share interests, and most of their interests are against ours, and vise versa.
