  • and the view from the blimp? oh. thats right. it's espn with their horrible crash coverage. i still cant believe how they screwed up sadler's pocono crash in 2010.

  • Well, THAT was a mess..

  • At 3:09 Dish Network vs Direct TV............Direct TV won

  • 2:22 watch the official in white behind the wall to the right, nice dive man

  • "America's all about speed, hot, nasty, bad ass speed"- Elenor Roosevelt 1955

  • @NASCAR4ever11 talladega nights will ferrel good movie

  • This is the only reason i watch NASCAR now!....

  • Thats what happens when you try to make them turn in different ways.

    Only joking.

  • why am i not surprised Michael Mcdowell was involved

  • wow, really bad crash that was just horrible, its hard to race knowing something like this could happen at any time

  • where it said speed is beautiful how come the crash happen

  • Watkins Glenn?

  • Very nice vidio awesome

  • i dont think its so much that there was a wreck it was that it was coming off of a 90 degree corner on a narrow stretch

  • i just love how hornish SHATTERED those water barrels

  • @zeidy388 they're not water barrels. they're never water barrels. the only place water is used is in a hollywood studio. they're barrels of sand, because water, pavement, and high speed are not a good combination. even the barrels you see on city streets and highways are sand, and not water.

  • Hahaha speed is beautiful.......sure.......when you are far away from big ones LOL....

  • Nascar should build more tracks like this.Who is with me?

  • Speed is able to kill.

  • A wreck involving at least 5 cars is common on road courses, because the cars have enormous speed and are just inches apart due to the narrow stretches. That's why all these cars were involved in this accident.

  • I went to this race in 2010 and there was a four-car pile up, I think.

  • wth 0:03 it looke like a game ;D

  • Listen to the crowd man on the replays

  • David Gilliand absolutely felt that... hit the wall hard, got hit by Bobby Labonte hard, then got hit again hard by Hornish and another driver that i dont know

  • @DavidOrtiz36 Michael McDowell? Do You Mean The 00?

  • @DavidOrtiz36 no sorry it was joe nemechek

  • @DavidOrtiz36 joe nemechek

  • Dont you Love the Doctor Punch... "OAAAHHHH HEAAAAVVVY CONTACT!"

Well No shit Doctor. They were just tap dancing coming off that turn..

  • Speed is beautiful. When you don't crash!

  • Speed is beautiful and Speed caused Crash.

    EPIC FAIL!!!

  • Nascar automobiles being destroyed?

    Oh darn.

  • "The 43 of Bob Blaney involved" *facepalm*

  • "Speed is beautiful." made my day.. xD

  • still laughing at when they crash above it says speed is beautiful!

  • 0:12 cars are crashing under speed is beutiful

  • Sam Hornish doesn't have good times here. 2 years in a row.

  • Only reason I watch it.

  • If speed is beautiful, crashing must be indescribable!

  • listen to the crowd ahh ahhhhhh ohhhhh ooooo lol

  • Was that a Hutchen's device David took off?

  • @MortifiedPenguin275 that or a D-cell, yes.

  • lol did u see labonte get out of his car

  • Good thing Earnhardt jr did'nt get into that crash,It developed in front of him!

  • mcdowell is an idiot

  • all below the SPEED IS BEAUTIFUL sign

  • I was there 2003,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009

  • @govtracy cool!

  • Wow Clint Bowyer that was close

  • you can hear the croud at 2:14 -2:16

  • Phuck, that's a big hit. The poor bastard in the #38 car cops 3 huge belts there.

  • At 2:14 the blue car (nr 100?) with unjust racing pushes the black car out of line which has to slow down to take a wider line allowing blue car to get inside.

At 2:17 the blue car on purpose slam into the side of the black who hits the wall.

    Totally LAME racing!!

  • Do you know anything about racing, at all? These things happen.

  • David are you alive? ok good, make sure you've got the sponsors cap on first, then go to the medical center :p

  • well sorenson used his braked well and a deja vu this year too its like the cars are like go go go!!! no stoppppppppppp

  • i can see it, is cute

  • LOL!!!, 2:25, Speed is Beautiful

  • I feel sorry for who gets to clean up that mess:)

  • D*** Bobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I rofl'd at the speed is beautiful sign.

  • big hitsssssss

  • Yep, Big hiiiiiitttttt!

  • Ouch. Holy shit!

I wish we would also get that detailed replays in F1!

The onboard cameras are radio controlled or why can they move?

  • The cameras inside the cars, on the roofs of the cars and rear-bumpers if the cars, as well as certain track cameras are radio controlled by guys in the broadcast truck in the infield.

  • wow that's cool :)

  • Ryan Newman stalled..not Hornish. God, Jerry Punch needs to give it up and hand it over to someone else.

  • don't care if you like NASCAR or not... but show me a more wild, exciting 15 seconds..2:35 to 2:50. watching this replay over and over again really shows how bad this could have been.

  • i think thats the first time ive heard the crowd react to an accident.

  • if it sucks. then don't WATCH IT!!

  • what do they mean robby gordon somehow got threw the wreck happened way ahead of him

  • ESPN sucks at broadcasting

Nascar needs more races on TNT, they only have 6

  • that crash was scary. someone you could of been seriously injured or worse. I don't know McDowell was thinking. but that was not a smart move at all.

  • forget tnt let fox broadcast more

  • @Keselowski88 i like FOX but espn does suck i agree

  • DAMN! What was really crazy was the car at :11 that went into the barrels

  • espn guys are so dumb.

"there is the 12 car of..........Sam hornish...."

    that's ryan newman DIPSHITS

  • surprised hornish's car didn't erupt in flames. his car hit the pit barriers right where the fuel cell was.

  • no it hit on the door

  • Remember watching this live =]

    Thanks for the post!

  • da-mn. with TWO syllables.

  • "speed is beautiful". that's some irony right there

  • I know you have a man crush on scott speed, but no need to advertise it.

  • i saw it on tv l0l!

  • Speed is beautiful.

  • @tubeyou443 LOL and the beauty of wrecks

  • ........DAMN!

  • cool

  • I have never seen a crash this big. Bobby took a hard hit.

  • Racing incident, nascar is close racing, it's gonna happen

  • i was at this race and the whole thing was just a big accident... nobodies fault.. i could see the wreck from where i was sitting (in the large red and yellow grand stand seats and ive seen a million replays and nobody is at fault for the wreck

  • i completely agree i was watching it live the red flag was about 1 hour 15 mins long.

  • Mcdowell intentionally wrecked Gilliand for contact earlier that lap.

  • why

  • True!

  • mcdowell's fault.. all he has done in his career is flip in practice and make huge 1 at road course!

  • "Sono molto deluso per il fatto che abbaiamo distrutto." said Papis.

  • bobby labonte was transported to a local hospital because of hurt ribs but i never heard if he was alright or not does any one know he he borke his ribs

  • ya he has 2 or 3 cracked ribs

  • Bobby labonte dosnt.. Just brusing.

  • thanks that sucks for him i was just happy jimmie johnson hasnt had any really bad acciendents in awhile hes my favorite racer

  • hes lucky my fav is jeff gordon he had decent 1 at vegas

  • when i saw this on tv i was like OMFG!!!!

  • I was on turn one when this happened but being they have hugh flat screens to see the whole track I was able to see it from all angles,

Truly was a great race sorry to see the ones involved couldn't finish As far as bobby breaking ribs It was said at the track NO! but he was going to get X-rays I hope he's ok.

  • man, that was one of the most violent crashes i've seen at a nascar road course race in a long time. thanks for showing the vid and i'm glad all of the drivers were ok.

  • After a second look... i must add that McDowell not only pushed up... but he simply stuck Gillaland in the wall. Which makes Waltrip even more of an idiot than i thought. :)

  • M. Waltrip said this was Gillland's fault. what an idiot. It's obvious McDowell pushed up.

  • You know, if you wanted to, you could've just went between channels during that time. And if they hadn't thrown the red flag and repaired and cleaned the track, it could've killed someone. And they don't give it to Kyle, he earns it with a good vehicle, and some recklessness. and they aren't 43 crappy cars, they are very durable and fast enough. if you want fast, dangerous racing, just watch F1 and shutup.

  • you, are a perfect example of a classic moron. there is so much wrong with what you just said its not even funny. of course they would throw the red flag you twit why waste laps of racing under caution driving through a dangerous field of debris, not to mention countless emergency vehicles. and they didnt give the race to kyle busch, they didnt do a thing. kyle won the race fair and square, that doesnt even make sence. and boycotting? oh my im sure nascar will be so upset 1 fan wont be watching.

  • and another thing...the ratings are up substantially this season. i dont know where you came up with this garbage.

  • fuck mcdowell or whatever his name is,i've fucking had enough with that stupid rookie recking everyone, and i admit i'm glad waltrip racing is releasing his ass next year!

  • Okay, Yeah Michael McDowell made a bad move there to create that pile up, but does that one thing make him a bad racer...No id doesn't. Hes a good driver and when he had that crash/flip at Texas, everyone wanted him to be in Nascar because that sunday race and later races he did well. All Drivers make mistakes and today just happens to be his. He should stay in Nascar. Give him a chance.

  • Listen to how the crowd reacts in the background at 02:20-02:23.

  • Any news on Bobby?

  • On Wind Tunnel I'm sure Dave said he was released from the hospital.

  • i saw this crash live, it scared me

  • I have three words, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

  • bobby labonate is ok for good sakes, but gone to local hospital for futher vaildation, and others there were involved so gladly ok

  • dude i watched the hole race

  • uofff..kurt wasnt involved besides when i saw the replay i was laghing when i saw the thing thats written speed is beautifull i was like yess guys speed up for more harder crashes XD lol

  • OMG Very Very Hard crash

  • you can hear andy at 0.09 say "oh god!"

thay took labonte to the hospatal to get checked out but other then that, i think everyone was ok

  • I know Right. He is like the only abc/espn commentator that actually shows emotion.

  • well Jarrett isnt that bad, hes better then Rusty

  • Oh yeah. I've only heard commentators say "god" about 2 or 3 times but I guess that is because you aren't supposed to say "god" in vain.

  • Michael McDowell is a fucking asshole.

  • yea, #00 of 1800-champion racing is some bitch, glad hes not returning that fucking ass car the for sprint cup series 2009, pisses me off for him

  • i was watching the race when that happened i i went oh my god

  • they called mcdowell and gilliland to the nascar hauler

  • speed is beautiful but dangerous

  • that was one hell of a crash

  • Brutal. Just Brutal.
