I remember playing this and remembering that THIS was the part I was looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, the controls left something to be desired when you controlled the motorcycle. Took me awhile to finish this part of the game, due to poor controls. But that was me playing it on the PS2. I don't know if it was any better on any of the other platforms. Does anyone know how this played on Xbox and PC?

I had it on the Xbox and I must said it was difficult to steer the bike - slight movement of the analog stick would send your bike making a sudden turn. Incredibly annoying.

However, I enjoyed the game thoroughly.

It's just I believe that when he slammed in that barbed wire and then get his hands up, he still somehow escaped maybe :) anyways I'm not a fuckin' child if u think that I'm afraid of things such as that... so sorry for that words in my comment man. it's not a scary part so if I would be afraid of such things I wouldn't have watched the movie :)

and plus a question: have u got this game on PC? or on whatever other platform. 'cuz I think that The Great Escape game on PC is the best one. Ya know I've read that it's the original version plus I think that it should suck on XBOX because of the movement and I think that the graphics are best on PC 'cuz I'm playin' on the highest graphics available and I saw it on PS2 and XBOX. it's not as good as on PC :D

I know, I've noticed the FRAPS benchmark when loading. Anyways I've got it on PC too. It's the best game I've ever played ya know, the greatest game of all time. :) The PC is capable of more graphics in The Great Escape than on consoles. That was written in GameSpot :)

If it wasn't on the PC anybody that played the game was just wasting time and ended up getting disappointed playing a sub-par game that if I remember correctly had bad controls and left out a few levels from the PC version. Without a doubt when the game came out graphics-wise it was just too much for the PS2 and Xbox to handle.
