Alot of the great swimmers have certain problems. Just deal with it the best way you can, and continue to try to better yourself. Pay atteniton to your body, and watch alot of videos like these too (it seems to help me a bit) especially Thorpedo (Ian Thorpe) his freestyle is soo smooth. Like if you pay attention to Phelps when he dives in the pool to start, like he could be a little bit more smoother...but yeah he makes up for it.

Thats because he dives in deeper than everyone else.. he gets under the wave from the other swimmers and the deeper underwater you go the faster you can dolphin kick. You just have to find the right angle, not too deep and not too shallow.
