To FF, Working with portraits, I try to get the likeness first with blurred image...

I add details slowly looking at the face as a whole,

and trying to feel the person...

Hi Atula,

Good stuff. But, I would like you to show us how you do portraits as seen in one of your other videos where you displayed all your artwork.

I'm very interested in pastel art but I don't know where to begin as drawing any kind of detail seems like an impossible task. What do you say?

Main thing is to practice life drawing without sketching. Portraites were done mostly from photos. When you feel comfortable with you can try portraits. It is the most difficult. To detail.. choose a larger size... And use corners of pastel..Atula
