I used a 3mm warm white/ red bi coloured common positive led as sold by Dcc Supplies.
Fitted underneath the body with a channel for the wiring made so the whole instalation does'nt intrude in the interior. I installed a Bachmann 3 function decoder with the direction set opposite to that to which the locomotive has so you get the correct lighting. A subtle yet effective feature which puts a bit more life into such a quaint little train.

very good - I have done a similar thing with my autocoach but couldn't find a dual coloured lamp - what lamp did you use?

Coach looks good and the sound from the Pannier is good.
