Awesome video. thanks for posting -- very informative!! Before I put a card in a penny sleve, I make a cut along one of the top corners so i can slide the card in without dinging a corner. I agree with the comment above about using a magnetic (or screw-down) case that has grooved corners to fit the card -- this works particularly well for thick cards or high-end autos that you don't want to take ANY chance slipping into a penny sleve.
for the large toplaoders, u can put a decoy card inside it with the actual cards and then it doesn't slide around, but u can't see the back, but it still protects the card
for those large toploaders, you can put a decoy inside it with the actual card and it won't slide around. or u can just use a magnetic, but those get expensive
I first attended a baseball card show in early 2001 when I saw many people collect baseball cards. many people young and adults collected baseball cards. I use to get $1 per every 100 lots :D I was shocked!!!! Even 50+ yrs old collected cards :D So every month at my local mall I attend a card show been hobby for 7yrs so far. My fav card I first got was mickey mantle, believe from 1980s or 1990s? forgot.. love baseball.. I'm only 27 I love cards :D
its always good to collect a player like andrew miller. He is not highly rated like joba so a lot of people trade you his cards and stuff for maybe cheap and not a lot of people collect him but on the other hand, he has the potential to be great in which case your collection will be worth soo much. Collecting a player like joba is such a hassle that every one of his cards are worth hundreds and everyone collects him. Nice collection and storage method.
for top loaders that are too big, i just scotch tape the top of the top loader just enough so they don't slip out. Or i put a team bag over the top loader. great video!
