Koreans go to Philippines to learn English because it's cheap. I live in Canada and that's what my Korean-Canadian friends said...My favorite artist is BoA, she sings in Japanese and Korean :3. It's easy for them to learn Japanese but it's hard to learn English, so Philippines is an ideal place to learn since: 1. it's near, 2. it's cheap, 3. English is a mainstream language in music, media, entertainment and government as well as education. Only rich Koreans go to USA /Europe to learn English.
