  • Well what are your thoughts now that you have had the lens for 3-4 months. I am looking at this or the sigma...I need to decide if I want auto focus and is it worth the 600 extra for that feature? If I plan on using it for video my best bet is your reviewed lens.

    Your thoughts?

  • Did you quit making videos?

  • moooossstttt boooorrrriiinnggg vvvoooiiiceeee eevvvveeerrrrrr....

  • hey can you do more videos??

  • Hi Mexican Nerd I was woundering if this lens is compatible with EOS canon 50D,,will appreciate your help,THANKS.

  • To bad you quit....

  • @Nielsapplefreak What did I quit?

  • @DRUMMERR316 Thanks Jeremy. I try my best to keep my vids as high quality as possible.

  • Do you recommend this using for landscape aside from portrait?

  • @MissMeriGreis I've only used it for portraits so far but I'll give landscapes a try and let you know. From what I've heard, it better to use wider lenses for landscape.

  • Hey Mexican Nerd,

A question about your monitor. Is the DVI picture quality good enough for photo editing? HDMI is just too small.

Also did you have to disconnect your second monitor when updating to lion? I saw when you did the dual monitor video the drivers said they didn't support lion... is that why?

Thanks and keep making great videos!!

  • @JTech6 I'm not sure what you mean about the DVI video quality being good. I didn't know that HDMI was "to small". To me the DVI looks great and I don't have any problems with the quality of the video or pictures.

Yea I couldn't use the Diamond USB monitor adapter after I updated to Lion. The drivers weren't supported. Im letting my younger brother use one of my monitors on his computer right now. So I'm just using the MBP monitor and one Asus.

  • @TheMexicanNerd I just mean the quality of the picture on the monitor.

HDMI makes text small and sometimes unreadable. I would like to get DVI.

  • @Mackattack597 Oh ok. Yeah I like the DVI

  • @TheMexicanNerd Ok. Thanks. When will the room tour be up?

  • @TheMexicanNerd hi, what should i buy the Rokinon or the Samyang 8mm fisheye? whats better?

  • @JTech6 DisplayLink has a beta of the Diamond USB monitor adapters drivers that should work with lion. I'm going to try it out. Maybe I can go back to my dual monitor setup soon :)

  • Haha I loved it when you said oh that was creepy

  • @uglyhungrykid Haha I was afraid of dust getting into the lens. Creeped me out.

  • Room tour is cool!

  • @Nielsapplefreak I'll have one up soon.

  • @2:40 you said about 3 things that were so funny! Listen all the way to 2:47!I don't usually do this on a video because it is trolling but what you said was so funny! xD

Very good video man, keep it up! Earned yourself a sub!

  • @MorgTheWizard hahaha

  • Yo that lens is a BEAST!

  • @DrakeTechnology Yea its great.

  • whats the difference to a 50 mm 1.4? only the zoom type of thing

  • @McTim123 Yea the 85mm is just a little more zoomed in. Maybe a little more depth of field in certain situations.

  • "pretty long too, i like that" thats what she said.

  • the canon t3i worth the money? been thinking of investing in a DSLR

  • @randomrazr Definately worth the money! I have the T2i and the images it produces are SIMPLY AMAZING! Not to mention the video quality. Infact you could save some money and get the T2i instead of the T3i as the only difference is pretty much a swively screen. (ONly other new things in the T3i are a inbuilt flash trigger and a few other things)

  • @NZappletech what about the t3? ive seen ti on sale for 500 dollars

  • @randomrazr The T3 is what I was going to get in the first place, but then I could afford the T2i so I jumped at that. Depends if you need the extra megapixels to blow up HUGE photos lol. That's about it. and the body doesn't have a grip on it. ( i don't think) But that's only something the pro's complain about. And IDK why, because it feels really nice in the hand. Video quality is only 720P, but that;s no prob for most people. So yeah, the T3 is fine. Just make sure that price includes a lens.

  • @NZappletech I feel the same way you do.

  • @randomrazr I agree with everything NZappletech said about the T3i. The T3 is cool but I don't like the 720p limitation. I like to upload all my vids in 1080p now.
