Fitrainer1- Taking the bell over head tends to disengage your core. Also in my opinion most people tend to disconnect from the shoulder and during the descent, bringing the bell below the knees making the back go into flexion. I do not recommend that, IMO.
Quick question: I have some PT trying to tell me that when I do this technique that I should be squatting down more (i.e. should be bending at my knees as well as the waist). He's says I'll throw my back out. I've checked my form in the mirror and it's just like yours. Knees are bent on the down swing, but I'm not supposed to drop my butt like this PT is saying am I?
It depends on many factors, how long have you been swinging Kbells? Sometimes we find that heavier weight fixes a lot of issues. This is true in many movements. I would start with a 12k and see how that feels. Remember, it's not about the weight, its about the movement. Focus on your hips, using your hips not arms. Keep me updated and shoot me over a video to view as well.
Fitrainer1 - If you want to do over head movements, I would recommend the Kettlebell snatch.

(search for "Common Kettlebell Swing Mistakes" on YouTube)
Pay attention to dv8's head position vs. the head position in the above link. The other guy's makes sense.
Great though! THANKS!
