  • was that a v6 mustang at 5:43?

  • All the other drivers seemed a bit tame compared to the last one. Must have been a veteran of the mountain.

  • wow at 2:11 what is powering that 350z? it doesn't sound like a v6

  • @elmarko99 I have no idea, but you're right, definitely not a V6.

  • @PunkFictionProdction its a v6

  • @elmarko99 yes it had a super stock engine with a turbo

  • lol at 7:16! I wish my uncle races this again because honestly it was the best experiance I ever had even tho I had to get up everyday from mon-thur at 2 A.M to get ready for the practice runs. I hope one day I can get the chance to race this beast of a mountian. THIS IS REAL RACING!

  • @R3ALITYBEH1ND whos you uncle my grandpa drives this well he used to

  • whats it like there and where is pikes peak in america

do u get much excitment there eg offs

because it seems like a very challenging hil...........l the closest i've been to see the hole hill is in a game

  • @ganners09 The atmosphere at the race is pretty awesome. For the most part, it's a bunch of nice people who love racing. Pikes Peak is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There's usually a few offs every year, you just have to be lucky enough to sit somewhere near them :). And I don't think I'm being ignorant when I say that it IS the most challenging hill climb in the world.

  • @PunkFictionProdction well, it WAS the most challenging hill climb till the idiots paved it all the way to the top.

  • @BarryKunz64 You do realize that paving the entire mountain only allows for faster vehicles to enter, right? A Le Mans prototype could literally compete in 2012, I fail to see how increasing the average speed of the mountain makes it any less challenging.

  • @PunkFictionProdction I understand that, but I dont think you realize how iconic and famous it was BECAUSE it was dirt/gravel. Now it is an entirely different event. There are leterally thousands of roads they can hold hillclimb events that would be a challenge(granted they get permission)point being there was ONLY this dirt hillclimb . thats what made it exciting.look up a video called "climb dance" THAT is Pikes Peak.

  • @BarryKunz64 I disagree. There are not thousands of roads that could hold comparable events. Pikes Peak is still the only hill climb that takes advantage of a road that receives little use for the quality it was built to.

  • @ganners09

Place: Colorado Springs, CO. - (Google Earth "Pikes Peak")

    When: 06/28/10

An excellent position for overall view: Devils Playground

  • @ganners09 its 156 turns hair pins and others thats a mountain 14,000 feet up

  • Dude, thank you.I watched all 5 and I liked 'em. 2010 I am planing to go too. But $40 ticket to watch?! on pulic property... ?that is not fenced.. I got to find a way around it.

  • @camoben LOL, I'm not condoning sneaking in, but it'd be pretty hard. The race starts a few miles from the actual base of the mountain, so you'd have to leave ridiculously early to avoid paying.

But thanks for liking my videos, this year is going to be insane. I'd be shocked if the 10 minute barrier isn't broken.

  • Im from the Uk and would like to go and see this. When does this event run and how much are tickets etc?

  • Let's see...I'm not sure that a date has been announced this year, but it's usually the last week of July. And I believe it's $40 a ticket, but don't quote me on that.

  • damn that camaro at 4:58 was fuckin mean sounding!

  • Yeah, really. And my camera doesn't really do the cars engine's any justice.

  • ok thanks

  • Great job of stills between passes. Will be there this year

  • Thanks, that was actually my brother who took the pictures. And yes, it is a must see event, every single year.

  • The last car/driver is best!

  • Yes, Jimmy Keeney is the man. He was in the X-Games this year too!

  • The caption at the beginning should read "the siren is for dipshits who walk out on the track during the race"

  • I can't say I agree with you...but I certainly don't disagree lol

  • car from the crc series

  • Which car would that be exactly?

  • I was the person in the middle filming with the yellow shirt on that guy at 9:00 got close it was frekin scary

  • whats the entry fee? i thought it was only open to pro drivers. o and i love the guy at 9:00 that was sweet

  • I'm not sure what the entry fee is, but they've advertised that pretty much anyone can afford to enter the race.

    And yes, Jimmy is awesome.

  • Great shot of Jimmy .Was this Engineers?

  • BTW that's not S13, it's S14.

    Great footage!

  • Thanks for the comment! I'm not exactly a Nissan fan, so I wasn't sure about which model it was.

  • 1:48, Silvia S13? By the way, your videos are great :D

  • Ding ding ding! Correct!

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

  • No problem :D I should know what one looks like, hopefully getting one for my first car... Would much prefer a S14 or even a Sileighty ... as if getting insurance for a s13 wasn't hard enough to get...

Oh and bit disappointed it started raining. Good action went with the good weather :( first chance I get next summer I'll be there :D

  • How far away from Colorado Springs do you live?

  • Other side of the world more or less. I live in England :D other than the annual Pikes Peak anything else good happen in Colorado Springs?

  • Well, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado there's another rally that I'll be going to in September.

  • What kind of rally's that? Get some good coverage like the lovely stuff you have of Pikes Peak :D

  • Just look up "Rally Colorado" on YouTube.

And I'll be sure to get some good shots.

  • Yeah, Jimmy was amazing! As soon as he went by, I was simply shocked. I figured that he'd beat Dallenbach, but third overall is good enough.

  • Whoa, Jimmy was super smooth. YEAH FOR home towners!

  • Jimmy Keeney is the man!!

  • 4:55 so true XD

  • Well down at turn 3 where we were, the cops came out with the loud speakers telling people to stay off the course or get arrested. Alot more idiots out this year thats for sure.

  • Where did that one Vintage class car go off? I can't believe anyone would cross the track like that. Whenever I needed to, I'd do it RIGHT after a car went by, and even then I was running! I feel bad for the guy that went off, a whole year of waiting, gone.

  • Do you know that jack guy? He should of stayed home.

  • That's the funniest thing, we have no idea where he came from! When we got there in the morning, he was sleeping on the ground and I was like, "Oh, this guy will never make it. He'll be so tired through the whole thing." Then he opened up a Corona...
