Afraid not. Several shows were cancelled at once by the BBC. These were Techno games, Robot Wars, and Tommorows World. Someone doesn't like science or Philippa! So far there are no plans to bring them back which is a shame - I agree with you.

they didn't cut robot wars they sold it to channel five who put the show on a sunday at 6 in the morning

Well C5 picked it up as BBC dropped it along with Techno Games and Tomorrows World. To start with it was on about 6pm on a Sunday night (our episode D was about this time with robot Lightning) but they kept moving the time slot. Nobody could easily keep up with it. The viewing figures dropped from 8 million in its hey day on BBC to 1 million when it started on C5. Then C5 managed to drive the final nail in the coffin with the changing time slots.
