good tutorial but it's tricky to use! pivot is much easier! the only problem is that you can get better animations on tisfat!

tisfat is alot easier ^^ you just have too get used too the physics and you'll sail through. also really tight end results not saying pivots bad, i use pivot too.

This program may look complicated when you first start it up the first time but once you get the hang of it, it actually becomes very easy.

Just because you can't use something doesnt mean it sucks. Judging by your animations i'd say you're the one that sucks. that would explain why you can't use it :) and no "biotch" isnt much better...

tisfat is OK but pivot requires more skill and tisfat is like 4 begginer but tisfat is a little annoying cause u have to press the tool bar 4 like nearly evry frame

Why do you have to press the toolbar every frame? I don't, are you sure you're adding new keyframes and not adding a new stick for each part of the animation? They're both equal in terms of capabilities so I'd say stick with what you're best with or most comfortable with.

ummmmmmm............pivot is way easier in my view. TISPAT is pretty good since it handles every frame between keyframes but in pivot you have to manage all the frames which... is quite difficult for me. btw check out my videos

You can do a lot more complicated stuff with pivot but TISFAT is a lot faster. No offence bit people with pivot and are good have more skill.

its not exactly true that pivot users have more skill. they both include moving joints. the only difference is the tween. yes it does add in the frames inbetween but u will see that there are alot of tisfat users hu dont get the positions right all the time including myself. it isnt easier.

Not really, you can animate anything you can think of in TISFAT as long as it doesn't involve Flash-style lighting effects. If you're patient you can even animate fullbody. The two programs are about equal, they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

tisfat makes better videos and takes less time and is a sorta step from pivot to flash its the inbetween to get u ready

China, really nice tutorial. I like the song to, it's calming. (well to me it is) When it comes to me using Tisfat, my style with it is UNIQUE. I don't know how to explain it, but I make my sticks run differently, more realistic-like. I don't wanna sound bragish, but if I were to make a tutorial, I wouldn't know how to explain it. So yeah, China, you're the one to do this kinda thing. Good job. ^_^

Make sure tisfat is NOT on your desktop. keep it in the folder it was originaly in and you shouldnt have that bug. if not make sure your using the right version and that you have the right layer selected

XD. actually i take that back. pivot and easytoon copied tisfat but tisfat still copied flash. i would normaly download it but i got pivot, easytoon, and flash 8 on my comp. so that's enough for me.

you dont. u can LOCK some joints by ctrl clicking them but it doesnt work the same way pivot does and it could be buggy. i prefere ragdoll so i dont got a prob with it
