Having lived in Europe for quite a few years, I know that Turks don't need bad weather to have an accident - any vehicle, any road, any conditions, they'll have an accident.
It is a very common situation here in Turkey. We pay everything more than anyone in the world because of our taxes, and the government still does nothing about our roads. They are bumpy, dirty, and even cracked. Our roads have sooo much dust and dirt on them, and when it rains just a little, not heavily, the road becomes dusty and wet at the same time making it really very slippery. Also our corners are not banked, they are flat, and that doesn't help cornering...
In Asian if u wanna help u stop but if ur too busy u just keep on going... Ok here in us it's a law that u need to seek help first.... At the scene....
What should he do? Stop by on the motorway endangering him and the others? Not smart nor legal (forbidden action on motorways). Plus the pavement was slippery.
@Gian092 Do you actually drive? You should always stop at an accident you witness. Thank god not everyone thinks like you. When I got thrown from my bike on the motorway 3 years ago I would have died if not for the kind souls who parked their cars around my unconcious body so as to stop me getting run over!
Your assertion is clearly untrue, at least in the EU (and perhaps also in the rest of the world). You have to stop if, and only if you are involved in the accident on motorways. The rules of the road state that stopping on the motorway is forbidden. It's not question of "thinking" when you're committing a traffic violation.
Anyway in this particular occasion stopping would have been doubly dangerous as the road pavement was manifestly slippery.
