omg my english teacher put abunch of foriegn bands i knew them all but i saw the picture for this band and i said what the hell a high bunny and dudes in bunny suites
Does anyone listen to Comedy Death Ray? They use the first minute of this song to open one of their games, and on one podcast the guest comedians improvised lyrics over the melody. It was about a sad train, and how it shouldn't cry, or it would rust!
Fantastic song, but I can't hear it now without the hilarious "alternate" version of it.
Warning: if you are high like I am this will freak you out. I have my ipod set up in my iblaster and evil is the song that is "Now Playing" but it is paused (i last paused it right at the beggining of this song so i could listen to it after i got high) so as im using my apple bong, this song starts playing at full volume (i last had it at under half volume) the weirder part is i almost expected that to happen. Is there any reason for why this happened, or is it just coincidence?
This song actually reminds me of when my little sister died.
She got raped, and murdered by a jackass that was EEVILLL!!...
But it makes a picture in my head of me reaching for her hand while shes slipping off of a huge cliff over an ocean, and her hand fastly slipping (in slow motion) and her falling with a worried/sad look on her face while shes calling out to me, "Why didnt you save me, Sarah.. why?.."
I agree, BrotherofWill! This is the best song on "Embryonic". Looking at the album cover while listening to the opening reminds me of some 60's psychodelic movie I saw when I was 17. It's so trippy. And the lyrics are truly depressing.
This song is pretty strange. The main lead of those heavy tunes that start right from the beginning are absolutely fantastic, they somehow remind me of listening to records as a kid (the lyrics are pretty striking because of this feeling).
Best song on the album for me so far. It's pretty fucking sad and depressing too.
This is the song I want to be listening to while I die.

Question, One True Media, is this the quality of the songs period or an upload issue. I'm thankful, but curious because......well because

For some reason the tunes that start at the beginning of the song remind me of BBC's "Threads".
If you don't know what I'm talking about, keep it that way.

Can anyone identify the instrument playing that beautiful melody in the beginning and throughout the song? I'd really like to know.

@BullHOnkey347 Could be a bit of short-term memory loss. Happens to some people from time to time when they're high.

They were definitely channeling early Pink Floyd here. Fantastic song!
This is the weirdness that we all enjoy from these guys. Pure Krautrock-like, space music insanity on the edge of a dreamscape.
A+

@Yesitis808 just curious, how does this remind you of him?
caviglia8 1 year ago
@caviglia8 They have such an original, different sound; reminiscent of Syd's ambient style that pensively incapacitates.

@Yesitis808 I read that and was confused, but after a few minutes I know exactly what you mean. Song brings tears to my eyes.
