In this situation I always knock on window and talk to the driver, If you don't they don't realize how dangerous what they did was. Most of the time they'd say sorry, and sometimes they'd swear at you, that's when you have to knock their mirrors out ;)
I admired a driver taking a right turn on Collins Ave and performing a smooth 180 to come back out of the side road and turn left, all in one move... then as she overtook my bicycle and I was thinking "wonder what she'll do now, I've got my car test coming soon and that looked very skillful", she immediately cut across me and pulled over to park - had to jam on the brakes.
How stupid can you be, to overtake a cyclist (can't not see them) and pull right in front of them to stop? :/
In Dublin the Cycle Lanes are to narrow,Lethal no Car Obeys the 3Feet Rule. They need to be at least 3 Times Wider than they are. Cars should not be allowed to Drive over them to Park. The Police should Fine anyone for Parking on a Cycle Lane.
I think the more pressing issue here is... why is she not in either the kitchen or the bedroom?
