  • mine was just stolen 2 weeks ago by some fuckin worthless sperm. cost me 650.00 (xmas money) total as i bought the cat clamp as well. and only gave that bitch 150 hrs of community service?? what a fkin joke!! throw that fuckin cunt in jail. as for them 2 asian fucks....send them back to nam with napalm in between there slanted assholes. oh yeah...happy holidays to me jerkoffs!!!!!!

  • my dad is a worker at hilon hotel sacramento arden west the place where a lot of cars had there windows broken , things stolen, and catalytic converter stolen. my dad has his window smashed and catalytic stolen in just six weeks. he just got off from work yesterday on october 15. he went in his car ann when he started it, he started hearing funny noises from underneath the car. he then found out that his cat converter had been jacked. he had to spent $200.

  • Had my Cat converter stolen from my mechanic's yard along with 10 other vehicles. I only have liability with Geico and his insurance doesnt even cover the theft because it was done outside of his garage so its an out of pocket expense for him. I Just looked up a device today called the Cat Clamp..it secures the cat with tempered steel cables..thieves see it and they keep moving..it takes forever to cut thru the cables. when I get my car repaired, I'm installing it !!!!

  • hmm they went easy on her

  • LOL I think I might get into the bizz seeing as it's a small price to pay and a good amount of pay. Good thing I drive a low ricer the first foo to try to snatch it is gonna get stuck and kicked in the dick, when I come back to my car.

  • I work with catalytic converters,, i never sold them i pay for every one of them..

and they are good money you can make 15k a month if you doin good

  • @armanijusic why are all scrap or salvage stores people obsessed with the catalytic converters ? I was selling an old car and everyone one of them asked only two questions ( make sure to have the cars title and it comes with a complete catalytic converter ) , he wasn't worried about the engine or gear or how many miles i had . could you please explain ? do after market ones cost less than the original one ? or whats the scoop here.

  • @randomvidz94 A catalytic converter has small amounts of precious metals in them like platnum. Salvage dealers make a profit and while cleaning up old junk at home I have sold a few old converters from cars that I parted out a long time ago. They paid me from $35 up to $82 depending on which ones they were. They have a book that tells them how much precious metal is in each one. Aftermarket converters are cheaper because they don't have precious metals in them. Will aftermarket pass epa test?

  • that's pathetic. 110 dollars and 3yrs probation? a new cat costs over a grand unless you go with a cheap aftermarket cat. look at all those. that's thousands of dollars she stole from other people. if someone did that to me, i wouldn't be able to afford fixing it. to hell w/ her. thieves suck.

  • i got mine stolen last night in oakland man it cost me 240 for a new one and im broke fucken ass holes i say shoot 'em if u catch 'em in the act.

  • I say kill the bitch. Three years of probation?? $110? They got my cat last night on 12th ave off franklin. When will Sacramento ever step in to do something about these crooks and thieves?

  • @SacVideoDotCom

No shit, especially since you can't even buy a new one for that amount of $!

  • These thieves received nothing but a little slap on the wrist. All catalytic converters should have an ID stamped into them. Before sale of a used one, the buyer should take down the DL# of the seller. People caught steeling them should have their right hand chopped off and an identifying mark on their face for good measure.

  • That sentence seemed really light for the amount of damage she caused.

  • 4runner owners Beware!! I got mine stolen last night right in front of my house. When I started it I thought the engine was gonna explode, took me a while to figure out what was going on. Sounds funny to tell people about it. And I know these thieves will keep doing it! I read about some "anti-cat-theft" locks like Cat Cuff and Cat Clamp, but jeez those are way too expensive. So I just went to home depot and got myself a 5-feet chain and a lock, wrapped around the cat with the frame, works well!

  • what does that mean? how would a catalytic converter be "empty"?

  • mine was stolen this morning!! I was VERY mad and would love to shot the bastards who did it. My neighbor heard the sawing noise at 6am but by the time he looked out his window it was too late and they already had the piece in hand and were fleeing the scene. I hate thieves!!!!

  • mine was stolen 2 days ago..live so close to this station too

  • My Cat converter was stolen last night on May 29th 08. It will cause a total of over $2000 to replace all missing and damage part. My deductable is $500. I am tight on budget, I am mad, and the next thief will eat my bullet.

  • I would shoot that bastard too.

  • @jeffxion some ahole tried to get mine of my brand new toyota tundra. the didnt get it though. must have got spooked or there saw broke or something. they did manage to saw thru the o2 sensor so im out 300 bucks. there needs to be a law. what kind of place would buy what they know has been stolen!!!

  • @jeffxion BUNCH OF CHINKS
