@darkerflames I'm not sure. I never tested this device, since I consider it to be inadequate for the task it is made for. I don't like the fact that once installed, you cannot easily switch back and forth from 120 film to 35mm film.
i bought the actual adapter kit through Freestyle. It cost me 5 dollars and it works quite well. In my opinion though you should just rig it with foam and rubberbands. You get the cool sprocket hole and it is dirt cheap.
in order to get your diana to shoot 35mm you only need two pieces of closed cell foam and some black electrical tape. tape up the red window on the back, tape the 35mm film leader to the spool and put the closed cell foam above and below the film canister so that it's centered. close the back and shoot. i've found that it's about 1.5 turns to advance to the next frame...
I bought this too... biggest waste of 11 bucks. I made a better one out of black construction paper, and I didn't have to use that lousy mounting that that would have surely messed up my camera.
lol....whats the point of making your own box anyway? you can get bubble wrap envelops for less than a dollar at walmart and save yourself the trouble.
LOL. I love the packaging. Going green. :)

Ouch. I hope you bought this figuring that you'd be screwed, but knowing you'd get a cool video out of it.
Otherwise... damn... this was a terrible rip-off.

Hi I have a Diana and was wondering if the two masks help well with the size of image produced on the 35mm film?

whether this guy is thrifty, or just cheap, a home made box and a hand made product fit the lomo profile quite nicely.

I think it is a kinda philosophy. It matches the shitty equipment for a lo-fi cameras spirit nicely.
