I wonder why everyone generalizes anime all into one stereotype. There are tons of different artists, it's not like it's ALL shit. People just see the shitty, overpowered scream-every-line-of-dialogue-­robot-fighting stuff and say that the whole art style = terrible.

@blobloblo6 It does seem pretty lazy though when all anime character to exist, despite their companies or artists, look pretty much exactly alike. I don't understand this fully, because with western animation, you don't see every character from different shows look like characters from Adventure Time. I think it's just an excuse to get away with laziness.

There are just as many shitty Animes as there are shitty cartoons.
