just very sweetly laughed and said in that thick accent, don't lay that race card on me baby. and him and someone else walked him across the street and layed him down somewhere i guess i didn't follow. there was like a hundred people there old schoolers videotaping and everything after a reading at the beat museum. pretty groovy scene i got to float by
i loved it poetry is such a lost art unappreciated but glorious, although no longer celebrated the way it should be, art i met jack hirshman one night in san fran in north beach. he touched me. cuz there was a black drunk homeless man passed out in front of the bar. and the bartenders were mulling around him saying they were going to call the police. jack woke the guy up and helped him stand. and the black guy turned on jack saying this is cuz i'm black right, going in on jack. and jack

This poem is crazy and clever. It could be a description of the life, the love and the human spirit.
