You know, even though this is all scripted, you really feel for Kane here, and I'm not just saying that as a PROUD Kaneanite. When it all comes down to it, you realize that Kane during this time was really fucked up, and it's not because he's "imagining" the scars or "insane", either. This was all Paul Bearer's doing. He kept Kane locked away for years telling him how hideous his face was. It's no wonder Kane hid behind the mask and afterwards, with a towel.

While everyone complains Kane is unmasked, I'm glad he unmasked. The reason being, this run he had in 03; setting JR on fire, Tombstoning Linda, and his feud with Shane made him a real monster again. This 03 reign of his is my personal favorite time period to watch Kane. Classic and underated stuff!
