  • What if You Live in NYC?

So You get on a Jumbo Jet at LGA and arrive at JFK 10 minutes later?

  • Hey, which shoes did she end up picking? The other video does not show them and I was so excited to watch it to see the shoes!

  • kinda boring

  • winner video is on our page; check it out!

  • melrose909 won. Congrats!!

  • Has the winner been chosen?

  • winners announced Monday!

  • This video marketing idea is brilliant! I really like the last-minute King Pong submission!

  • Has anyone been contacted? I'm excited to hear who wins!

  • If the track is from a CD, you can use up to 10% or 30 seconds of a track (which ever is less) for non-profit, "educational" situations, say if it was for a short film for a video production course. If you need more than that, then you require both a Usage License from the copyright holder and a Master Use license from the performer.

  • Agreed. I've done a lot of research into this, and the "10% or 30 seconds rule" still means you need permission to use the track if you are using that track to seek something with monotary value--unless of course it is for "educationl purposes." All of these videos are being exchanged for monotary value, therefore there should be no copyrights in any of them.

If you're not sure if a song is copyrighted, it's a good idea to google the lyrics and typically something will pop up.

  • Doesnt the contest have rule about copyrighted music? I swear I read that so half of these videos showed be DQ

  • Some are covered by parody law. Some may have permission to use professional music. I did.

  • Parody law? Never heard of that.

Personally (if I were judging a contest) I'd respect those who went out of their way to use royalty free or non-copyright music. It's easy to use something off of Itunes, but much harder to create something or purchase roaylty free music.

For contests, you've got to be very, very careful with copyrights.

  • the only thing i know about shoes is that they're brutal

  • It looks like a contestant here is rating down the compeition. Wow, this is a brutal group!

  • Stuart better watch out! I'm putting up my video tonight. :o)

  • where's the vid? :)

  • Aha! I didn't see the one extra step. I'm up and running now. Thanks! :o)

  • Your contest rules say it must be in .avi, .mov. or .mpg format. Is it okay if it is in the H.264 codec that youtube prefers? the extension will be .m4v

  • That should be acceptable.

  • Will the contest be extended at all? I am working away on my video. Thanks!

  • you've got 3 days! go for it!

  • I uploaded my video and it is not showing up, guess they have them blocked rom public viewing or something

  • don't forget to put it as a "video response" on this page!!! click "post a video response" above...

  • I did and I did it twice still not there, not sure why it isnt showing up.

  • I can't believe there aren't any video responses, yet! :(

  • guess you better make one fast!

  • I'm the world's worst ping pong player. You'd get a better challenge out of playing against the wall. :P

  • yeah, but the contest has very little to do with Ping-Pong. We just want you to make a funny vid; you can do anything. Go for it!!!

  • Hello

  • I was really touched by your colorful culture of your company, although I am not qualified for your contest rules,I also made a video to share with you. Happy new year!

  • Hey Tim,

Contest rules will be up tomorrow! Get your video idea together soon!

  • I got a dead link when I went to look up the rules
