OMG you lucky devil1 I have always wanted to try a real (full scale) heli! Are there any words to describe how much fun it is?  Listen to your instructor, follow the checklist always and you will be a GREAT pilot! Then you can give ME a lesson someday =D

It's been YEARS since I saw this, back when you posted it on the old Airwolf.org. The music score always stuck with me, and the dissolve/overlays of The Lady's start-up from the 'Pilot' episode. :) Where is the music from please, as I'd love to have it on the iPod. Did you have to do your fixed-wing flying first, before the R22, or did you begin with rotary craft first, because it's choppers that I hope to start with, here in North East England in a few years.

Hey nice to see someone able to afford being out there and learning the real flight stuff. I have another teacher aquaintance who just went to what you are doing at Williamtown airbase heli school, he sure knows how to make me jealous talking about his 90 hours up out of 200 for his initial private heli licence in Australia

One day when the kids get independant i would love to do it too

I say go for it! IMO there's nothing like the feeling of flying a full scale heli and being able to go almost anywhere you want. Keep the dream alive and you will do it.

What an outstanding video... nice editing my new YouTube friend! I also did some training in Robbies myself back in '98; in Florida as well! I love all 3 of the choppers you have flight time in and have been in the rc heli hobby since this past March. I've got to watch your other videos... Lucky lucky man. I have flown in many helis in my Army days. Thats were I got the love, but never could afford lessons, so I have been flying the models instead.....lol. I would give my left nut to fly the real deal. lol. Great video... Thanks for sharing 5 * for sure.....
