hey guyz

i'm a musicologist with indian traditional and jazz background.

my opinion:

- its not jazz, but indian pop, known as bollywood sound.

- ind. pop music has trad. and folk indian elements, western rock,hiphop and jazz elements.

- ind. folk/pop music can have improvisational elements, like the ornamentation of a melody, but the framework is rigid(western arrangements)

4) ind. classical uses raags, has strict forms, but the improvisational element is essential to it.

whats your opinion ?

And thankfully no, you don't need to add extra-sexy clothes to a sexy dance. Traditional Indish dances can be very sexy as well and those women don't wear tight or revealing clothes. Don't be so narrowminded.
