  • Can someone help me?

I want to make a simple highland greenhouse. Humidity will be fine, but I'm having trouble with finding a good spot for lighting... Also, what type of glass is recommanded for the greenhouse? (I live in Belgium.)

  • @STFUbelgium : You can use polycarbonate multiwall sheets as well as glass. Polycarbonate is transperent also for UV, however, double glass walls (insulated modern glass) absorbs a lot of UV but will save a lot of money for heating during winter. As light source I use professional 400 W HQI lamps, expensive (also for the current they need) but you'll see wonderful and healthy plants growing.

  • Me too :D

  • what humidity levels (min, max) do these need?

  • @missanna208 High humidity > 70% is recommended

  • i love this plant

  • Where is this facility specifically located?

  • The BE highland nurseries are some km away from Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka at about 1200 m altitude. The lowland nurseries are stated in Colombo.
