  • awsome pond ,i hooooooooooooooo lol

  • @KoiFan100 never lost a fish yet after 4 yrs ...... so that about says it all

  • @richandshirl I just thought... if you never lost a fish its good! Then you had luck! Althought i had dug more deep I find it is a very nice pond! with very nice fish in it!

  • @carmindystevens fish are way cooler

  • thumbs up if u turn the volume of straight away

  • My grandad built one like this years ago but never used a liner the concrete was waterproof enough and he kept his golfish and koi very well in there for years never tested the water for lime/amonia etc but all i know is the fish and plants thrived in there a few years later he made me a smaller version about 7 feet long 2 feet deep again just bricks and cement no liner....

  • very nice, but was the wife ok with the pond taking like 70% of the garden XD

  • Wow thats nice!

  • Brilliant pond, how much did all that cost?

  • i hope!nice song

  • Nice job well done , like it mate.

  • hi ho

  • how much you spent ??

  • Very cool project, awesome music choice as well haha

  • Cute dog, and amazing pond, but you should have put some kind of water fall or something, but the pond is still great

  • awhhh cute dawgy =[]

  • lool get some nice koi?

  • good effort and well done digging and mixing concrete is not easy

  • why the candy cane border? yikes!

  • Very nice , and yes you could'nt have done it without the wife's food....well done.

  • I think you did great. That was my plan, although on a smaller scale, but it proved to be to expensive for all the blocks, etc. I'm just going to dig a hole but have the a foot or two above ground using the blocks. Someone mentioned 4feet being shallow for Koi? I thought that was a great depth. Way better than 2 feet right? Mine's going to be 4 feet.

  • you have a cute

    dog

  • is this a 9x16 foot pond?

  • waaaaw best!

  • the music from snow white i bought the movie for my little girl funny thing in it they say and you can hear it of to Mexico wonder why the change

  • when u get tired of ur fish u can turn it to a pool :D

  • how did you get the corners cut so that the liner does not bunch up at the corners?

  • @stantonporsche fold at an angle ,just keep folding till you get it right ,and cut once

  • @stantonporsche It's a bit hard to explain but it's just like wrapping a gift in paper, except it's inside out. As already mentioned, fold it up against the wall.

  • Nice, but would like to more about filter and pump (How to)

  • nice easy!!

  • Nice pond, bit too shallow for koi, looks about 4 feet? and carpet is a bad thing as it rots.

But apart from that well done.

  • @lynda46 well its been there 3yrs ,all levels perfect i.e ammonia ,nitrite etc never lost a fish ,and alls awsome,as for the carpet ,if you watch i also used the proper underlay that came with liner.

  • there some really good info on the net saying that you don tneed lots of depth in a pond to grow large fish. Go do some more reading instead of posting silly things like that.

Great pond build!! how many litres all up is that ?

  • @lynda46 Depends on the ground! I had carpeted underlay for ten years on sandy ground and was still perfect when I took apart to enlarge! Nice pond mate

  • @troops1980 thanks mate cheers

  • Fucking song, great pond!

  • From the music, I'm expecting the seven dwarfs to build the pond

  • Brilliant well done you did a great job and the pond looks great

  • 1 question. why didnt u just go with all concrete instead of using liner ? btw your pond is so nice, i really like it . just wondering thats all.

  • where did you get all that fish

  • does any one know if you need planning permission off your local council ?

  • you should put like a mountain of rocks or something in middle .. it looks empty .. or a wattttfall

  • wheres the pergola ?? and well done bro xxxx

  • @salistorymaker look at my other video mate

  • @richandshirl nice pond you have talent

  • @sktitanlady thank you,if you look at mt other video its all done with a pergola now

  • @kusayshey pondliner uk there on ebay

  • Wow great job...and you did it yourself!!! I like a natural looking pond but looks like you have space issues. You get the size and depth in a controlled space...great job!

  • great pond i want 1 exactly the same, what did the costs add up to in the end?

  • Hold on to that lady becuase they dont grow on all trees . beutiful pond btw

  • Hi i'm making a concrete pond and i wanted to know what do you use to stick the liner to the concrete and why your corners are so perfect without wrinkles?

  • you dont stick the liner the water holds it in place and just play around with the corners there easy b4 you fill a right git after.

    rich

  • You should put a spitting statue or a fountain in there

  • ive just in stalled a large air statue fo airation

  • sweet pond!

  • How much you want for that dog?

  • sweet pond, you could turn it into a giant hot tub lol.

  • Nice job.

  • hey nice vid!

did you filter the water or just fill it in w/out putting in pipes or anything??

    5/5

  • just dechlorinated tap water and its all filtered

  • Awesome job you guys!

  • Nice pond, but hope you put some plants in it like lilies because it provides the koi with a spot to get out of the sun and in my opinion looks more like a pond as opposed to a swimming pool

  • wat type of koi do u have, i have 12 koi at the moment, hoping to get a kohaku.

  • ive got one of them

  • Nice pond, how many liters does it hold and how many fish u got, are they all koi.

  • The dog helped in the process? :)

  • very nice but wouldn't it be better if it was at the level of the ground? It seems like pool now...

  • raised because of children

  • thats a good idea about raising it for the kids. and ever thought about putting aquatic flowers in there so it doesnt look so "poolish"?

  • it now has lillies and oxygenators what you see was just the finished pond in so to speak raw form.
