  • Please ignore joeys36 below here, he believes Mexicans have a color on their skin but that is simply ignorance,

I heard this music and I love it, because it's beautiful,

    thank you guys...

  • why are there white people playin this?

no offense but youd think there would be some mexicans playin mexican music

  • Why? Music has no nationality, in my opinion.

  • This individual has no bad ground in history. The Spanish, the French and the Germans have settled in Mexico and have become Mexican. There are many blond, blue eyed MEXICANS in deep Mexico, but of course, you need to get out into the world to see this. There are Mexicans with Spanish, French and German blood because their parents married into some of the finest people in the world. Arriba Mexico!

  • xD great im from mexico and i like it (generaly, i dont like my folklore music)

and it sounds to like greek music a bit... mybe is why i like it

dude, it sound great.... its just my opinion

  • @kurhi23 Translation: beautiful interpretation, it is a shame that in our Mexico the new generations prefer listening to that commercial thrash they sell to us as music, when this kids are showing us how beautiful our vernacular music is. Congratulations to these kids that are really giving us a lesson.

  • Bien Hecho felicidades

Bien echo (well done).

  • Translation:

I believe these blondies may not know what is a yoke of draft animals but they do know how to play "Cuatro Milpas". Well done!

    Gracias.

  • Hi KBTaylor,

    Very good translation.

A coamil is usually a corn field that is planted by hand on uneven, hilly or rocky terrain; a yunta is a corn field that is planted with the help of draft animals, usually steers, on flat level terrain.

This song is about lost love and the loss of sustenance, it basically says that everything was lost except for the last four corn stalks left in the field (the cuatro milpas).

  • O_O ... nice!

  • Soooooo moving ! Brings something in the eyes. Yes quatro milpas is most beatiful. But the way these kids play add a pathos.

  • nice, made me wanna go down to old el passo and shoot gary cooper in a movie, the music and the kids were great.

  • Mexican music is so beautiful as the country itself.

  • Mexican music is so beautiful.

  • Wow, this is most excellent!

  • wonderfull job

  • Very well played! As mexican and musician myself, it's always reconfortating to watch young musicians learn music trough diversity and hard work. Also, thanks for this lesson of humility.

  • I like mexican culture. i am from Moldova(central europe). bellissimo! :)
